PETA to Hasselbeck -- "Cluck You!"

Whoopi's long overdue employment announcement wasn't the only news on "The View" yesterday. Elisabeth Hasselbeck revealed the thigh slapping news that she has chopped off a chicken's head -- and PETA thinks that's just foul!

After using hand motions to describe how to accurately decapitate a chicken, grossing out the audience more than she usually does, polite talk then resumed. Now Lizzy's in the soup with PETA, and they had this nugget for the right wing chicken winger:

"PETA has two words for Hasselbeck, 'Cluck you!' Next to Barbara and Joy, who expressed compassion, Elisabeth sat there chirping about the joys of killing defenseless birds. Conservatives love animals too, and she ruffled a lot of feathers today. Now that Whoopi has joined the show, maybe it's time for Hasslebeck's head to go on the chopping block."

Reps for "The View" had no comment.

319. Glad PETA said "Cluck You" to E.H. She is a moron and a complete waste of oxygen. I've written to "The View" many times imploring them to fire E.H. Surely there HAS to be some conservative entertainer who has a brain -- OR maybe NOT! After all, look what the conservatives have done to our country by supporting "shrub" for president and "darth cheney" for vice president. I work from home and have the tv on for background noise but I simply cannot stand E.H. Instead, I listen to a podcast while working. Maybe when Whoopi arrives on the show, I'll give it another try but I just hope to heaven that E.H. decides to put her family first and leave the show to raise her children!

320. The point is you DONT have to eat chicken. Evolve already, WE DO NOT HAVE TO EAT ANIMALS TO LIVE--PERIOD. For those of you who THINK they do are ignorant to the facts. Those who do eat animals usually don't take pride in killing of their feast, hell they cant' even watch "meet your meat". Elisabeth is repulsive & ignorant to say the least, she's a poor excuse for a human being that's aside from her pretentious politics and CROSS wearing necklaces (oh please). Open your eyes, as we blog you are lining the pockets of big government subsidized business (diary & meat industry), while we die of heart failure/diabetes/obesity/cancer......, "but it taste good". Just because we as humans have been eating animals for sometime does not mean we cannot change. It's ridiculous to think that anything ever stays the same, including our diets. Educate yourself on a vegetarian/vegan diet. It's time to STOP THE SLAUGHTERING OF ANIMALS.

323. I can't wait for the day when Elizabeth is gone. I don't like Barry Manilow music, but his refusal to come on The View because of Elizabeth is awesome. PETA and Berry keep slinging those arrows and with any luck they will get rid of that awful woman.
