91. Both of my parents were raised on farms in Colorado, and they raised chickens too. Sometimes you have to kill some of them for food. My grandmother did it for over 75 years. If Elisabeth was on Survivor, her group wasn't the only one that had to kill a chicken and cook it. It is a fact of life unless you are a vegan.

92. PETA can eat me. They are a group of fanatical dumbasses who take a good cause - humane treatment of animals - and turn it into a joke with the depths of stupidity they reach.

Also, why is it always mentioned that Elisabeth is a conservative? I don't hear everyone categorizing Barbara Walters and Joy Behar as liberals everytime they're mentioned, though obviously they are or else Elisabeth's political views wouldn't be noteworthy.

Liberals: Fighting to keep free speech free - as long as you don't have an opposing opinion.

94. I posted meetyourmeat.com for all of you callous people posting the trite and overused "LOL im in yer internets eating ur chicken" comments. Do you have the guts enough to actually watch what you're talking about happen? Animals feel pain and fear just as humans do, there's no reason they should be tortured so even if you do feel you have to eat their flesh despite all of the great alternatives available now.

In China they eat cats and dogs and we think that's horrible over here because we're raised to think of dogs and cats as companion animals, not food. Cows and chickens are just as smart as dogs and pigs are actually proven to be smarter--and quite closely linked to humans in terms of DNA--and if raised as pets behave just the same as a cat or dog would. What makes us eating pigs, cows, and chickens any different then Asian countries serving up cats and dogs? Because you've been told it's different your whole life, just as they have? Once you've been unplugged from the matrix of the meat industry there's no going back--it's hideously inhumane and a living nightmare. To answer that reality with "yum" is incredibly ignorant, immature, and downright brutal.

The problem animal lovers everywhere have with Elizabeth's description of the death of the chicken is the brainless smile she had on her face as she described with glee how the poor thing suffered. That was really unnecessary, and just further proof that she's a hideous individual with no moral character--it's been replaced by a fascist political agenda.

The View would do well to get rid of this sadist!

105. Oh come on! Don't you people realize the chicken has to die so you can have your fried chicken dinners? My great grandma went out to the chicken yard every week and got a chicken and took it over to a tree stump where she kept the axe and whacked its head off, hung it upside down on the clothesline (where it flapped for awhile), defeathered it, cut it up, and served it to us for Sunday dinner. Guess what - someone has to kill the cows for your Big Macs too!
