Whoops! Designer Claims Braxton Bounced a Check

Toni BraxtonThe wardrobe designer who made costumes for Toni Braxton's Las Vegas show is suing the songstress, claiming she bounced a check for his designer duds. Un-break my bank account!

According to court papers filed on Friday, Anthony Franco was commissioned by Braxton and Liberty Entertainment, Inc. to design the entire wardrobe for Braxton's "Toni Revealed" show. Franco claims they agreed on a price of $35,000. Franco alleges that he received payment by check, which was returned for "insufficient funds." He then alleges the defendants put a stop payment on the check.

In the lawsuit, Franco claims he was eventually paid $20,000, but there is still a $15,000 balance. Braxton's show at the Flamingo Hotel began last August and is still going strong.

Calls to Toni Braxton's rep and attorney for comment were not immediately returned.

Is that what you're saying? Because, it sure sounds like it! How could you possibly post something so stupid and ambiguous as that? Do us all a favor, jump off a bridge!

Also, costaMesaboy... "A black women with a cute face..." ? Not following you here... unless Toni Braxton is more than one black woman, which I'm pretty sure she is not!

Pointing out the stupidity of both of you, makes me question why white people feel superior to every other race... obviously it has nothing to do with intelligence.

18. She is making a huge amount of money. I live near vegas and her show is the hottest thing there. She always sells out and they pay her big time. If she cancelled the check...there's a reason.

19. Hey, who knows if she had reason to withhold payment or stop a check? No reason to jump to conclusions. Girl is working hard, you ave any idea what kind of energy it takes to do a vegas show just about every night (plus matinees?) for a year? Leave her alone unless you know the facts.

27. Noone has ever bounced a check by accident? It happens. Toni has a lot on her plate, she has a child with autism, doing the show, maybe it's just a mistake but of course TMZ has to make a big deal out of it. Give her a break.
