36. I don't think she's completely wrong. Even if it was an accident, he still has a responsibility to the baby. He might not owe her mother anything, but he owes that baby. She didn't ask to be born into that circus and the least he can do is be there for his daughter so she doesn't grow up and read all this and figure out he didn't want her.

And I really don't get the money thing unless the Spice Girls only got a fraction of what they made. She shouldn't need the money at all, but maybe she does. I don't know who her new husband is, that whole thing sounds weird so maybe they do need the cash. If that's the case, though, then it isn't Eddie's problem. Her new man can get a job.

Of course, if I was dating some guy and got knocked up and he spent the entire pregnancy avoiding me and making claims that he wasn't sure he was the father? I'd be just as pissed as she is. I think that's a big part of it anyway. She's scorned and she's pissed. Good for her, I guess, but they both need to settle down and do what is right for the baby and making asses out of themselves every chance they get isn't going to do this baby any good.

37. I bet if and when Eddie decides he's going to get involved with the kid, that the mother is looking forward to making his life a living hell.

With the other kids he have outside of his marriage I wonder if he's been there, done that and has found trying to have a relationship with the kids is too much of a hassle because of the mother? Or, is he on good terms with the mothers? In this situation, I wonder if he is interested in the hassle of dealing with the mother to see the kid? It's not like he doesn't have any kids at all. He has probably already gotten used to the fuss of "baby mamas" and has decided to pay the money and wait until the child is older and not have to deal with them.

Who knows?

I know that I would not be interested in having a relationship with a man who is not on good terms with the mother of the child he is trying build a relationship with. Too much turmoil.
I have seen the mothers get the father to fall in love with the kid, then she begins to turn the knife. This does not sound good any way you look at it.

Look at the way this mother is carrying on. Who wants to be bothered with her to get to the kid?

39. If I had a baby with a woman who: I felt, or knew she turned out to be a professional grifter and a stalker...who, BTW...had a baby for me, and used that baby as a lure to pull off that very grifting scam, unless I could gain full custody of the baby, I wouldn't be visiting the child either!!!

If Mel B is desperate enough to do something like this...what's next???!!! Eddie Murphy should stay a million miles away from her for his own safety, if nothing else!!! Something really strange is going on here...and it has the words "criminal conspiracy" written all over it!!!

40. PS--To Hazel: Actually, Eddie found out that Mel B was cheating on him with a cross dresser. After that, he immediately ended the relationship. Armed with that information, he had all the reason to assume that the baby in question, could be...just about anybody's child!!!

Hence, this is the direct reason why Eddie responded in that interview the way he did. And if he was your brother or friend, you'd tell him to respond in that very same way, until, or if, you and he, knew different!!!

41. Eddie is the bad guy here. He made Mel B look like a cheap hore in public when he was interviewed in dutch TV. For Mel B who was in love with Eddie at that time, this was a chock. No wonder she fell out of love after that.

Eddie is the one who made this whole story very uggly and dirty. That she was devestated is logic. I can only emgine how deep this must have hurt and how sad it must have been to have to go throught pregnancy and birth without the man she thought loved her too. Instead he and his fans make her look like a golddigger which is not working since she is wealthy herself.

The most unforgivable Eddie is doing now is that he makes it perfectly clear to his new daughter that she is not wanted by him and that he does not want to have anything to do with her. This baby grows up and one day she will begin to ask about her dad. She will see media materials in the archives and she will read and see by herself how much her father hated her mum and most likely even her existens.

You guys who say "whats the big deal, he pays and does not want to have to do with this kid". The big deal is that he let´s his agression and now most likly hate against his former girlfriend go over a little girl. That is what many man do. Pay and thn forget about the kid. That are man who are cold and immature. Most of those men are also not famous and do not deny their child in front of the whole world so the child can follow all that as a grown person in the media archives. This girl is doomed for the rest of her live to be Eddie Murphies unwanted child.

That is how mature and nice Eddie is. To me he is a cold and mean man.
