Paris Makes Teens Cry

Paris Hilton drove two teenagers last night -- to tears! -- just by agreeing to take a picture with them! The end is near, people.


Two Huntington Beach teens were waiting outside Hilton's Malibu beach house around 9PM Wednesday night and were ecstatic when the heiress -- looking mighty glam in a shimmery dress and full hair and makeup -- graced them with her presence. Paris kindly obliged for a photo with the hyper pair and a random mom-type before whooshing into her SUV and off into the night.

Paris At Her Best -- click to launchTMZ talked to the girls after Paris left, and found them both wiping tears of joy from their faces, so happy to have met their "idol" and "true love." There's no idol like a drunk drivin' porn star ex-con socialite!

49. This story makes me very sad for anyone who views Paris as a role model. What happened to the "I want to make a difference, its not going to be about me any more, I've been selfish, blah, blah, blah." Has she done a damn thing for anyone besides her self?

53. There is your problem right there. Their parents have chit for brains to permit these two airheads to drive from Huntington Beach all the way over to Malibu to stalk Paris Hilton's beach home. Like the infamous San Fernando Valley girls, Orange County has their own little porn queens that break out into a chorus of tears on que. And, will open their legs for the Big Gulp. ( think ... Paris is no lady. She's a tramp. Princess Di is nothing like Paris. She's a lady, a REAL person. Paris is flaky and all that!

57. How sad it is to see Hilton trying to manipulate our young people through the media. Parenting begins at home, and it’s a job that gets more challenging with each passing year, thanks to people like her. Our approach in dealing with someone like Hilton who can only make a buck by capitalizing on sleazy behavior is to talk to our teenagers about these “idols” and their shortcomings, but from their point of view. We simply talk openly about what is really going on behind the public façade and the media hype.

We always take an interest in our kids’ choices, but never sit in judgment on those choices. We also might suggest more positive role models as gently as possible. It’s okay to be at first dazzled by people like Hilton on the surface, but we also encourage our kids to view who these people really are from an honest, realistic perspective. This parenting technique seems to work. For example, they view The Paris Hilton as “phony,” and whenever they plunk down their money to buy something, it’s never on merchandise that she endorses.
