Train Wrecks
Bad Sushi Night -- Brad Garrett Attacks

Things got downright racial last night in Malibu, when a paparazzo taunted Brad Garrett, calling him racist to his face. Garrett then took out his anger on the wrong guy, bitchslapping a TMZ photog.

It happened outside Nobu restaurant around 11:30 PM, after a photog from the FAME photo agency questioned the "Everybody Loves Raymond" star about a joke he made about black people earlier in the week. According to several witnesses and FAME, last month Brad noticed a black photog taking his picture, and in Kramer-esque fashion quipped, "I didn't know there were black people in Malibu. Go back to where you came from."

Fast forward to last night, where the 6'8" behemoth reached his boiling point when the same black photog questioned him about the alleged comment. The photog told Garrett that there were "more black people here this time," to which the actor replied, "Yeah, I know ... when did they let you out?" Furious at the comment, photog told Garrett, "You're racist. You should be ashamed on [sic] yourself."

Obviously frustrated, Garrett then lost his cool completely. Instead of reacting to the snapper making the comments, Garrett approached TMZ's cameraman and unleashed his right hand, smashing the camera into the photog's face.

Calls to Garrett's reps were not immediately returned.

226. It is so obvious that the camera man was with the man who was taunting Brad. Then the camera man whines about how he didn't do anything? My Mom always said if you are "choosing" to hang with the perpetrator then when the dirty deed goes down you are most assuredly going down too! If these men like their job of chasing stars around and annoying them with stupid statements then take what your job brings you. I think Brad kept his control better than most would have. Who is not going to react in some way to being called a racist?

230. Garrett didnt hit the black man cause its a hate crime, wish he wouldve so he coulda been put away and I'd be spared from seeing his talentless, unfunny face on tv. My dead grandfather is funnier than him,and hes dead!

231. Its funny that the black dude said that "this is America"... as if we're actually the most tolerant people in the world. The truth is we're just the most Balkanized. Most people are racially aware. Multiculturalism has done nothing except create fear and instability without bringing a single concrete, nameable benefit. It is nothing more than a leftist project to destroy the West.

232. The paparazzi ARE bottom feeders - they exploit every human foible, whether by stalking, sneaking onto private property, or pushing people to the absolute limit with taunts and insults.

They do indeed deserve every bitch-slap they have ever gotten - and far, far worse. I look forward to the day that a few become road-pizza because of their abhorrent actions. It cannot happen soon enough, nor too many times.

234. Before Brad was married (and BTW he is divorced now), I met Brad on a TV shoot. I am Native American. He asked me to go out on a date with him. I found him to be very sweet, gentle and honest. I had a great time with him and he treated me very decently and with respect. I would have never considered him to be a racist.

236. Good for Brad! Sick of these annoying camera-in-your-face jealous looser jerks trying to elicit a reaction to stupid ingorant comments. They got what they wanted - but they won't get anything from it. They have probably watched it 3000 times and high fived all around. In the meantime, the man with the talent continues to make money.
