Drew's "Price"-Inflicted Battle Scars

Drew Carey says he's fine after his on-set accident last week, but dear Lord -- look at his wrist! It looks like he was dog sitting at Michael Vick's house!

The new "Price Is Right" emcee showed off his battle wounds while on KROQ's "Kevin & Bean" show in Los Angeles this morning. Back on Friday, Drew got his arm caught in the revolving turntable on stage while rehearsing for the Grocery Game. He was back on set later that day in a soft cast, joking around with crew members and showing off his battle wounds.

Protect the human population! Time to have those pricing games spayed and neutered!

34. Okay, the picture on the left was obviously taken at the hospital. You can see the sink and the paper towel dispenser in the background. Probably taken right after the soft cast was taken off. The picture on the right was taken at the radio studio when he appeared on the show. Looks like Drew himself took the pics with his camera phone. And now that I look at the pic on the right a little closer, that pic looks like it was taken in someone's home. Hardwood floors, a table in the background, a wooden chair in the left of the photo. Yeah, that was not taken at a radio station. The wooden floors and chairs are not acoustically conducive to a radio station.

Heal fast Drew, and be more careful next time!!!

35. What does it take to hold up a mic and talk at the same time. He's a series comic, this is totally out of his league. Jay Leno should have retired early from his late night show and taken this job. It would have taken him into his retirement and given him the time to play with his cars. Long live the PIR.

38. Any chances Drew might become Wally Pipp of all game shows? In case you don't know who Pipp is, he's the one who all-time Yankee great Lou Gehrig replaced. You know the rest of the history (Lou played 2,130 straight games and Pipp never played again).

40. I am a nurse, and his skin looks funny in the first one due to it being wrapped to control the bleeding on the way to the hospital. In the second, it looks different because it is now swollen from the injury.... No mystery here...

43. As any true "Price is Right" fan knows, the Grocery game, the WHOLE game, i.e counter, register, groceries and the model are on the turn table. When they intro the game the floor rotates and the game appears. So poor Drew got his arm caught between the two walls, he is lucky he didn't break it, or worse.
I think Drew is a great choice and wish him all the best!
