Lawyers to Jacko: You Never Paid Us Backo

JackoAnother batch of Michael Jackson's former lawyers claims the Gloved One screwed them out of dough. Who doesn't Jacko owe money to these days?!

In a lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, the King of Pop is accused of stiffing celebrity super-lawyers Lavely & Singer out of $113,750 in legal fees. According to the documents, the lawyers set up a payment plan for the singer to pay off his $180,000 debt, but Jackson never ponied up the final installment.

It's the second time this year that a team of Jackson's former lawyers has accused him of skipping a bill. As TMZ first reported, a Delaware-based law firm sued Jacko in June, claiming he never forked over $109,994.48 he allegedly owed them for acting as "general counsel" in a case against a concert promoter who accused the singer of backing out of two New Year's Eve concerts in 2000.

A rep for Jacko was not available for comment.

48. I'm so confused here.....so many posts are riddled w/ ill informed data. i always wonder why so many take pride and giggle w/ glee when celebs are having problems. i remember something about jackson FILING a lawsuit against HIS ACCOUNTANTS...basically, when daddy left the ranch, nothing got paid cept the accountants....yeah, they milked themoney out of the accounts, paid themselves serveral times over, and stiffed his staff, the utility people, and his lawyers from the trial.

daddy's back, taking care of business...it takes time. as for 'sir' paul, he had the option to purchase the catalogue for 1/3 of the price jackson paid for it. he didn't....the catalogue jackson owns isn't JUST beatles songs, he know owns hafl of sony publishing (they merged), half of acuff/rose (country music and all of elvis), and now part of viacom.....

yeah, broke my ass. he owes me an elephant

49. I do not understand this, michael jackson is living a private life. He is not in the public light, he does not live in hollywood. Why does this website feel the need to report anything about him. How do you report anything on someone who is not living a celebrity life. I am sure there are many hollywood types out there, doing parties and going to movie coming. If you hate this man so much and you feel he is nothing and he is lower than dirty, why waste space on your website reporting anything about a person who does not want anything to do with a public life at this time.

50. Michael Jackson is a wonderful and gifted star. He has given away more money than all you losers put together. There will always be "want-a-bes" hanging on the shirt tails of rich people to get what ever they can. Maybe the layers need advertizing and this is an easy way to get attention without them paying for it!! Did you ever think of that. Another thing, if people were not so "sue happy" Michael wouldn't need all those layers. He made his money on his own. If you want to be rich then get out there and work for it.

51. If Michael Jackson is really so broke I don't know why people think they can get any money out of him by continually suing him. Michael has business people that handle his affairs and lawsuits because he is so busy. Maybe he doesn't know who he owes money to until it actually goes to court . Once the case starts to go to court he always pays. Maybe during the trial Michael became a high risk to finance. So the business charged excessive fees to do business with him. If he doesn't pay right away the the business's sue him. However, they only get a franction of the excessive amount that they charged him. If it looks like he is unstable and trying not to pay his bills maybe theres a clause that the Beatles catalog can be taken. I never heard about Michael not paying his bills before the big trial.

52. I guess lawyers have declared open season on Michael Jackson. I advise him to settle them if he really owes them and move on with his life.
