Macy Gray's Got It ... Maid?!

From the looks of Macy Gray's unkempt ensemble it's obvious who the muse for her fashion line is -- Florence from "The Jeffersons." Weezie!
Macy Gray
Macy debuted her new "Natalie Hinds" (Macy's once-married name) collection at an event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida (yes, THAT hotel) on Monday, but instead of resembling a legit fashion house -- she looked ready to clean house! She don't do windows!

Her outfit is fine if you're running errands or getting your feet done, but Macy's supposed to be working the red carpet -- not vacuuming it!

16. Nice, TMZ.... Bash poor Macy, who never causes anyone any problems or is seen making an ass of herself in next-to-no clothes, Not running over anyone while drunk in her expensive car, Not bashing anyone's car with bricks or umbrellas, hasn't been caught driving DUI or shoved into yet another expensive "rehab center". Tear her up - God knows nobody would want to see anyone remotely normal on your website.

17. Hello gen-y-have-you-no-brains? moronistos,
Both Flo and Wheezie characters were dressed impeccably on the show. You probably think Arthur Ashe was a basketball player. Perhaps she resembles Carla from 'Cheers'--or are you in color barrier lock-down? R-E--S-E-A-R-C-H.
Bonne chance, 'tards and please don't breed. World has enough racist idiots.

18. Can't a girl be sick? look at her with a tissue! She is obviously suffering from a cold. It doesn't matter because she's clean, and together looking. Let a girl have a break. I've seen some of you outside when you should be investing in brown bags to cover your faces.

19. Florence did not wear a scarf, idiots. She wore a perm. The TMZ comments on these stories are what you get when you let a snot-nosed kid publish. They, for the most part, are not even funny, let alone insulting. You will have to work harder on your insult skills, with the new millennium and all.

20. I have to agree with most of the readers here... pretty racist there, TMZ. A black woman + head scarf = Aunt Jemima? I think not. I can usually tolerate your low brow sense of humor, but this one made my stomach turn... fyi, humor doesn't have to be ignorant and/or racist in order to be funny...

21. I like her voice; she really stands out. She usually does look like she rolled out of bed or just woke up, but I don't care. I watched her in concert on public TV the other night. She had on this pink gown that just didn't "go" with her at all. It just seemed like the dead last thing she should be wearing and it didn't seem to fit right. I couldn't figure out if that's the way she wanted it to be -- sort of like playing "dress-up" from a chest in the attic, or if she really was trying to look glamorous. She was wearing blue eye shadow that was also completely incongruous, but her voice works for me. She's an interesting character.

24. Very Racist TMZ.....I'm very disappointed. The racisim isn't even vieled anymore--outright blatant. I think this articale should be removed.

25. I bet if Macy was wearing this outfit in the company of Paris, Nicole, Lindsay or Britney the only clothes slammed would be Britney's. Macy beats her own drum, regardless of who likes it or who doesn't. I think she's awesome. You don't see her stringing her 3 kids along in public - she's keeping it all together and out of the public eye.
