Has John Mayer rebounded from Jessica Simpson with another singer/actress?
The "Chocolate Rain" singer was spotted out in SoHo yesterday having lunch with Mandy Moore, who was in town for the premiere of her new movie, "Dedication."
The frumpy pair (is that a potato sack she has on?) would make sense as a couple -- she likes funny guys with good musical taste (Zach Braff) and he likes women.

17. It never ceases to amaze me how much people think they know celebrities and what relationship is good for them. Try and remember, no matter how much you think you know them, you only know their "public" personality, not who they are in their private life. Staying in a relationship is hard enough in the real world, imagine how difficult it must be when you live your life in a fish bowl. These relationships often end due to the pressures of being in the public eye, not because fans think they know who is right or wrong for a celebrity.

Mandy Moore seems to be a nice girl but just not as intelligent as John Mayer is.
I don't know John Mayer, but I do know his music and I truly believe that in his lyrics he is asking for a NORMAL, OUT OF THE SPOTLIGHT, ALL AROUND GOOD GIRL.
Maybe he should try dating someone who hasn't slept with Wilmer Valderrama........
Much love for John's music. Just don't understand he choice in women.

20. Mandy Moore is BEAUTIFUL and so down to earth.. And lets face it.. She doesn't have a DUI, nor is she out seen party'ing it up every night!

22. Now THIS is a couple I can actually see together, unlike his ex Jessica [they completely clashed in all aspects]. Mandy is genuine and down to earth, and John is actually quite the witty, genuine guy himself.

23. I think this is a good coupling. They both have more in common musically, and, I'm guessing, spiritually...and they're both very tall.
Also, I think Mandy's sense of humor suits John better. She doesn't seem as scatter-brained as Jessica, and I suspect she'll quickly reign in Mayer's goofy charisma to a more tolerable level that even I can appreciate.

30. Well I met John for a brief moment and my first impression was WOW this man is amazing ---- anyways if he is looking for a "normal" girl then why does he date celebrities? Actually I really don't know where I'm going with this --so with that being said if John and Mandy don't work out and he feels like looking for a "normal" he should look for me --LOL -- ( BTW, I can not believe I'm contributing to this garbage--- but I could not help myself : P
