Rev. Al's Gayest Fight Ever

Al Sharpton, David BannerReverend Al Sharpton -- and his crew-- borrowed from the Isaiah Washington playbook to snap back at a rapper's filthy insults.

Rev. Al responded last night to rap-becile David Banner (real name Levell Crump), who while expressing his "hatred" for Sharpton earlier this week graciously invited Al to "suck [his] d*ck," amongst other offers, on hip-hop newser SOHH.com. Through Kirsten John-Foy, one of the leaders of the Rev's National Action Network, he roared back to the site, "From time to time we do encounter people that have sexual fantasies about Reverend Al Sharpton, but they are always women and Crump's proposition is a first."

Then, entering slightly murkier waters, John-Foy continued, "I am sure Rev. Sharpton would not call Crump the "N" "B" or "H" word ... [but] despite Crump's personal request, I am sure Reverend Sharpton would not call him a f-g--t."

A rep for Rev. Al confirmed that John-Foy's response was in fact sent from his office, but added that Rev. Al would "never" respond directly to comments like Banner's.

47. There's nothing 'reverse' about racism against whites. Blacks can be racist and so can whites and others. It's not reverse ANYTHING, people! It's just plain old racism.

50. These so called rappers are so ignorant. Al is trying to help people who actually need
all the help that they can get. The state of black america is getting worse everyday.
Yes he has made a few mistakes but sometimes when you try to help others it back
fires on you. Yes racism does exist and it comes from both sides of the isle. Is one
demon nicer than thee other?

52. Calling a race of people who have been the victim of racism "racists" just shows the ignorance of our society and their knowlege of sociology as a topic. Dumb asses. Also, if a black man like Al likes to blackmail black rappers, whites, and government officials of all races, to get himself some press-time, let him. He needs to feed his Manic Bi Polar behavior and who are we to stop him. The outlet of "bigotry", not racism, that Sharpton uses is safer for us than some hate mongering he could be doing and has done in the past.

53. TMZ: You know that your reading audience cannot maturely handle any postings involving black people. The racism just pours out like lava.

You perpetuate this racism, because you would rather have people talking racist crap than to not have them talking at all. Shame on you, Harvey, for inciting and perpetuating this racist garbage. You know exactly what you are doing.

54. Oh noooo...Sharpton is back. I am so glad to hear some of his own race are sick of him like the rest of us are. Now that Imus has won a lawsuit, and possibly returning to the airwaves, I guess we will be blessed with his bigotry again. As for Mr. Sharpton being responsible for the rise of the black race, I don't think so. Many, many years have passed where the black people have praised God in spite of their hardships, cried out to God for help, and it is the Lord above who helped and is continuing to help the blacks. If the blacks start giving credit that is due God alone to Mr. Sharpton, look out, for God is a jealous God. Mr. Sharpton is a scourge against the black race. He is the definition of racism and bigotry, and he is a disgrace and a joke in the public's eye. He stands for everything the black race is asking the white race to quit doing. In other words, Mr. Sharpton, you are a racist and a hypocrite. I am not surprised that the black race is starting to speak out. I can't count how many blacks were interviewed after the Imus hypocrisy stating that most of the blacks did not agree with Mr. Sharpton and for the public to please quit thinking he spoke for the black race. Mr. Sharpton, please shut up!

57. Two pure examples of the dumbing down of America. The level of conversation between these two is pathetic. Is it any wonder people look at the black race as morally absent. How I only wish the slave trade would have never existed. Our country would be so very different.

58. Mr. Sharpton should wait til the bigots are ripe before picking them for his staff. Will Ms. John-Foy feel as free to drop the 'other F word' when she comes to the sweet realization that her man has been living life on the down-low??? Oooops...who said that???

60. Don't you people get it? Sharpton and Jackson go where the money is. They know they can always get the white american press to cover stories based on black/white conflict. There is no money in boycotting black or white owned record labels that promote artists whose lyrics are demeaning--unless that "white artist" is using the "N" word!
