Celebrity Feuds
Rev. Al's Gayest Fight Ever

Al Sharpton, David BannerReverend Al Sharpton -- and his crew-- borrowed from the Isaiah Washington playbook to snap back at a rapper's filthy insults.

Rev. Al responded last night to rap-becile David Banner (real name Levell Crump), who while expressing his "hatred" for Sharpton earlier this week graciously invited Al to "suck [his] d*ck," amongst other offers, on hip-hop newser SOHH.com. Through Kirsten John-Foy, one of the leaders of the Rev's National Action Network, he roared back to the site, "From time to time we do encounter people that have sexual fantasies about Reverend Al Sharpton, but they are always women and Crump's proposition is a first."

Then, entering slightly murkier waters, John-Foy continued, "I am sure Rev. Sharpton would not call Crump the "N" "B" or "H" word ... [but] despite Crump's personal request, I am sure Reverend Sharpton would not call him a f-g--t."

A rep for Rev. Al confirmed that John-Foy's response was in fact sent from his office, but added that Rev. Al would "never" respond directly to comments like Banner's.

62. Sharpton needs to resign from the National Action Network. He is defeating the organization's efforts with his constant 'rush to judgement' comments and attention seeking behavior. Banner didn't need to use the type of comments he did, but the last I heard free speech in lyrics of rap music is protected in our laws and maybe he had to use that kind of language to try and get his point across to Sharpton.

63. TMZ, I see what you do! You delete most of the intelligent posts and leave on anything stupid, imbecilic, or inflammatory. Smart move in a world gone mad.

64. 3. No press conference to ban the sales of albums? no march in front of the record company to recind the deal? OF COURSE its because he's not white. Al Sharpton thinks of his race as nothing but victims who need his vast intelligence to rescue them from the white man. What a load of crap. Sharpton is THE biggest racist of them all not to mention hypocrite.

Well said Kate! Just to let you know that as a black man, Al Sharpton does not represent me at all. Yes, he is the biggest hypocrite that has ever walked on the face of this earth. All these so-called "black activists" care about is themselves and the people but it's kind of sad that so many African-Americans think these guys i.e. Revs. Sharpton and Jackson are really looking out for them.

And to Keesh (#11), what history are you talking about? Can you name just one good thing (that race is not involved) your Rev. Sharpton has done for African-Americans? Obviously, you idolize this man but I'm sorry to inform you that he doesn't give a hoot about you or any other black person for that matter. I don't need anyone to speak or fight for me, which they purport to do. There's something every human being has that's called a brain. It's just that some of us refuse to use them but rather let others use theirs to control ours.

That's the case with these so-called "black activists." I'm not going to be surprised at the reactions I'm going to get from the posts because when a black man thinks and acts for himself and not exhibit the typical "black mentality", he's termed a "sell out." Personally, I could care less what anyone has to say because just like you, I have the right (thank God and our brave men and women) to express my opinion. Peace!

66. #20, I totally agree with what you had to say. Nobody I know agrees with Al Sharpton, and as my husband said one day to a lady who said: "al sharpton speaks for black people"
"He doesn't speak for me or anyone I know or give a damn about."

68. People are asking "Who made Al and Jesse our leaders?" It was you, fools. Your abscence in matters affecting our people created a vacuum that was filled by these guys. So, stop being their judge and jury and go out there and represent your own people if you think you can do a better job.

69. Al Sharpton is an "I" "D" "I" "O" "T"
and probably a racist as well, but no one ever calls him on it
Always jumping on the bandwagon to help some African American who has been treated unfailrly. He is Joke! Just Like he did with those poor guys at DUKE University. I thought he was going to bring his own rope to hang them. Did he ever offer an apology for his racial remarks and rush to judgment ? I think not. Mr Sharpton needs to get his facts before running his mouth.
