Dead Woman's Hubby to Brandy: Stop It!

BrandyThe widower of the woman who died in a car accident involving R&B singer Brandy Norwood is furious that Brandy is out partying it up while he's still mourning his wife's death.

TMZ spoke with the attorney for Awatef Aboudihaj's husband, Marquane Hdidou, outside of court today. He said his client is extremely angry that he sees pictures of Brandy out clubbing so soon after the crash, which took place last December. Perhaps he saw them here?

In court today, the judge allowed the four parties suing Brandy in civil court to combine their cases: Hdidou, his wife's two kids from a previous marriage, her parents, and Mallory Ham, the man who survived the accident. A trial date has been set for January 28.

As for the criminal case, the investigation is still ongoing and no charges have been filed. Why does it take eight months to investigate a car crash?

76. Some of your people are just making the most idiotic comments. She wasn't drunk and it was an accident. If it wasn't Brandy, we would never know this guy! How many people die a day in CAR ACCIDENTS! She didn't get in her car and target this woman with the intention of killing her....be realistic folks. When your local news covers an accident it never goes this far........WTF is really going on???

77. What the hell is she supposed to do sit in the house and perhaps slit her risk.....I have a problem with ignorant greedy people and I can see right through his ass .....If he was a man of god then he would move on and forgive her.....I think Brandy has to live with the stigma that she was involved in that horrible crash .....If people wouldn't be taking pics of her while she is trying to enjoy her life cause as well all know "LIFE IS TO SHORT!"
Thats like me wanting to sue cigarette companies because My only living aunt died of lung cancer........People need to get a grip on reality and know that Jesus is the one who blesses us with favor and I tell you I know for a fact that he wont let you guys Bring Brandy down!
I honestly think 2 that tmz is responsible for alot of this bad poblicity ........Brandy is in my Prayers and so are all of you !

78. Yes, she was on the phone, paying no atention. And she is responsible for hitting the car that hit and killed the lady! She needs to go to jail like anyone else would!

79. I'D BE PISSED TOO. SHE ACTS LIKE SHE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG AND SHE KILLED SOMEONE. WHAT A BITCH. ANOTHER CELEBRITY JUSTICE CASE. IF IT WAS ME I'D ALREADY BE IN PRISON. SHE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO GUILT FOR KILLING SOMEONE.

80. I agree with #12. She caused the death of someone even if it was an accident. If I were responsible for someone's death and was facing a lawsuit, I'd stay home and lay low until it was all over. In fact, I would try to settle out of court and see to the funeral expenses aa well as offer my condolences to the family. I would care and act like it. I know it was an accident and that's the only reason I have sympathy for Brandy who lied about being married to her baby's daddy when she wasn't. And, then faked a divorce when they broke up. She's already shown she can lie to the public. She needs to lay low and keep out of the public eye until this thing is settled and show some respect for the woman's family.

81. Yeah, as much as I feel for his loss, he needs to get over that, that's so silly. It was an accident for chrissakes! What does he want her to do, go kill herself?
People in this country are waaaaay too litigious, it's disgusting and a waste of tax payers money.

82. Okay, "so soon after the accident"??? It's been EIGHT months and she wasn't drunk driving. It was an ACCIDENT. This could have happened to anybody driving on the highway...she's only being sued because she has money. Shame.

83. All the comments made here in support of Brandy are really twisted. This man lost his wife and mother to his children. He lost her because a selfish spoiled young woman was on her cellphone while driving in the fast lane and was also tailgaiting. This man DID NOT ask to be put in any type of spotlight, Brandy on the other hand lives for the spot light. To be photographed partying at a club while the trial is ongoing for a death SHE caused is just tacky and sick. As far as her not being cited for anything, don't speak so fast. The District Attorney is currently investigatin as to whether charges should be filed. Brandy is aware of this ongoing investigation as well as the civil trial, so you would think out of common decency or a last ditch effort to save her already fading career, she would lay low on the highlife and partying. It is no wonder she was fired as a judge on that reality show. She is bad publicity and her actions justify the ending of her career. She should be ashamed of herself and everytime she looks at her baby, plays with her baby, hears her baby, she should remember there are 2 children out there that will NEVER see or hear or touch their mommy again because of her selfish and irresponsible actions.

84. Terrence:

Are you people madd. Brandy had a accident unfortunate a lady was killed who happened to be a mother. Brandy has not been proven to have done anything wrong or (espeically the LA DA's office) would have filed charges by now. So it was a an accident, she had no intent on killing anyone. Most of us have been involved in car accidents. Brandi has given the family condoleces , what else can she do. I dont think she should pay them any money. If the insurance company want to pay fine, but Brandi should not be held personal liable. Like others have said dont be mislead, there were no drugs or drinking involved but seems like most of you forget that part and starting writing your own story. She should keep living her life as she wishes, I sure it a struggle everyday to deal with this whole matter

85. What's taking the DA so long to figure out if he is going to file charges or not?..If it was Brit, Paris, Nicole or Lindsay they would be sitting in prison right now..Yes even if it was just an ordinary accident without drink or drugs involved..Someone must like Brandy.

86. Brandy wasn't charged with any crime (she didn't even get a ticket), and she was not impaired by drugs or alcohol. It was a tragic accident, she didn't cause the death of that woman purposely. So it is completely unreasonable for anyone, including the widower, to expect her to still stay at home and grieve, when the accident occurred almost a year ago. There is nothing wrong with her going on with her life. Accidents happen, and I'm sure she feels terrible about it even though it appears she did nothing wrong.

I personally suspect the husband's attorney is just saying this stuff to make Brandy look bad in the eyes of potential jurors, and TMZ should not provide him with a forum to manipulate the court system.

Your a bigot And your "facts" are assumptions as you have not seen the results of the investigation. You can not know the things you claim.
I'm guessing if Brandy was killed your name would not be ....

Bonnie,
My facts, are the facts that have been reported by local news channels regarding the issue.
Brandy has not been criminally charged in this case, because she did not commit a criminal act.
I am not a bigot. I AM NOT DISCRIMINATING BASED UPON COLOR OF SKIN. I am discriminating based upon cultural practices that are cultivated and passed through the Iranian/Persian culture. Ask anyone who has bought a home from a Persian builder, been sued in a frivolous law suit by an Iranian-American, or who has had the unfortunate experience of being involved in any sort of business deal with a Persian, and I guarantee that they will support my claim that Persians are running scams all over LA.
Dishonesty is endemic to the Persian/Iranian culture

88. I can't believe you people are siding with Brandy after she killed this
man's wife! Yes, it was an accident but she still owes this family
something. Funerals aren't cheap as someone already pointed out. She should settle now and allow everyone to move on. Why take this to trial and prolong the agony for everyone involved? This man's grief
is probably very real and anyone who doubts it is a jackass!

89. Do you thing Brandy--- you have not done anything wrong- I Kow you feel that family but it was an accident... Talking on a cell phone is not illeagle....and its certainly not murder in any way

Posted at 3:34PM on Aug 16th 2007 by Terrence

90. The Iranian husband hired an Iranian attorney, who is talking to the press because he knows that he does not stand a chance in court, especially since there have not been any criminal charges filed against Brandy.

The Iranian attorney is attempting to make Brandy look bad to the public, in hopes that she will be so worried about her image, that she will be forced to settle with his Iranian client.

Brandy, should not pay these people a dime!
