16. What an ass! He ditches his wife after two kids & a long term marriage. He has more money than God & he wants her to go back to work NOW??? I hate that cheap, ungrateful, alcoholic bastard. Living with him was no bed of roses, I'm sure of that!

18. They abuse each other. One or the other come up with something every time things calm down. They can not let go of the addiction of hating each other. Hoff should just shut up, His own workable skills are questionable.
I'm just not likeing either one of them, But even dry drunks can get vindictive.

26. As a divorced father who has custody of his kids, who does not collect child support from his ex (which he is entitled to) AND pays his ex. spousal support, I am in David's corner.

To clear up some of the other, confused posts, spousal support is independent of marital assets. Barbara is likely going to get a chunk of change in marital assets (savings, investments) but she is also receiving spousal support, which is ongoing monthly income paid by the ex. Nobody is entilted NOT to work. Spousal support is meant to help get someone on their feet after the divorce. It is NOT meant to be permanent income so the ex. does not have to work. If she is not willing to work and try to support herself, then I do not blame David for wanting to cut her off. Is David collecting child support from her? He should be.

28. 16. What the hell ? Pamela should receive half the assets, why the talk about her having any work skills ? I'm sure they're rich. It was a long marriage, she's the mother of his kids ,spent her life on him....and and married him because he ASKED her to. Why isn't she getting any money ? She's not a peon, she was half of the marriage.
