Uncle Kracker's Wacker Lands Singer in Slammer

Kid Rock's former DJ, who also had a double platinum selling album of his own a few years back, was arrested and charged with a second-degree forcible sex offense outside Raleigh, North Carolina this morning.

Uncle Kracker, aka 33-year-old Matthew Shafer, was busted by Raleigh police at an Embassy Suites hotel around 4:45 AM.

Kracker, who had a huge hit with the song "Follow Me" in 2000, is currently being held in Wake County Jail on $5 million bond. According to arresting documents obtained by TMZ, Kracker , who is described as "a nationally known singer with major assets at his disposal," is considered to be a "exceptionally high flight risk."

Kracker is scheduled to face a judge on Friday.

The media is being coy about the exact charges, but yesterday the D.A. leaked to an alternative paper that the woman, whose name is Mary Elizabeth Madison Free Alicia Walker-Berkowitz, is a campain manager for Hillary Clinton....she was in the club empowering herself with "interpretive" dancing and drinking shaken Evian water when Matthew, who was on his way to the bathroom, said "How ya doin' baby?"....furious at this blatant sexual harrassment, she immediately filed charges of "spiritual rape"...

50. My entire family has known him since he was about 10 years old and we also personally know his wife and daughters. NO WAY IN HELL DID HE DO THIS!!!!!!! His family and extended family are down to earth and I know they will support him 100%. What a shame that this had to happen to him....we are with you all the way, Matt.

51. I dont think Kracker should be judged before he has a trail . Like everyone else he is innocent until proven guilty . And i think that its a bit much for a 5 millon dollar bond murders yes but he isnt a murder or has he been convicted of anything yet .

52. I saw that the judge lowered his bail quite a bit so that sounds like maybe he/she thought that 5 million was a little too high for whatever happened. I don't know him and don't know her, but I really hope he did not do this. I am a fan of his music and he does not seem like the kind of person that would do something as bad as this sounds. From everything I have ever heard about him he sounds like a really great guy. I will not judge him or her however until I know the facts because to do so is just wasted talk about nothing, and where is the sense in that. If he did it, then he will be judged by the North Carolina justice system. If she is lying I hope she is judged by them as well because it is just so wrong to make up lies like that. Whatever happens............we will see. Either way I hope justice prevails.

53. NOT GUILTY-if you knew him and his family you would see how much of a family man he is. he loves his wife and girls so much. GOD would have to come down and tell me matt did this. he would never harm anyone. INNOCENT until proven guilty. the girl is after money. she was probley star struck and thought instant money.

54. Anohter star proves a lack of restraint or sensilbe conduct. These guys can afford anyone doing anything. Looks like his bad boy image from Detroit will get sharpened in 3 to 5. His next album maight be Uncle Kracker - Kracker, Wacker And Slacker
