Hotelier Leona Helmsley, who once served prison time for tax evasion and was often called the "Queen of
Mean," has died. Helmsley suffered heart failure at her summer home in Greenwich, Conn., said her publicist, Howard Rubenstein.
Helmsley, with husband, Harry, ran a $5 billion real estate
empire which included managing the Empire State Building. A former housekeeper once said she heard Helmsley say: "We don't pay taxes. Only the little people pay taxes." She later served time in prison for tax evasion.
She denied making the statement, but the words followed her for the rest of her life.
She was 87.

Now she's in charge of Motel 666 on Highway to Hell.
Now THIS is the kind of news that makes my day. I'd say she should rot in Hell--but I don't think the Devil will even let her in.
People - it's bad karma to speak ill of the dead. I would watch myself today if I were you people. She's gone, she can't hurt you any more. I'm sure no one here suffered from her actions personally.
Are we sure we didnt get this story mixed up with the next story about Heath Ledger? It seems that she would have made a much better role choice for the Joker in the next Batman movie.
She looks like Lady Fairchild or whoever that scary puppet was on Mister Rogers.
