I just glad that society is filled with all you people who are perfect and can just walk around and throw stones. The child was in the hands of loving parents enjoying themselves and that was a far from reckless or abusive situation,..poor judgement at best..

We survived Jarts (lawn darts), seatbelt free naughahyde bench seats in massive gas-guzzling cars, biking without a helmet, not getting picked for teams, teasing, skateboarding with no safety equipment, concrete playgrounds with metal equipment, and much more. 180. If that kayaking trip is like the one I went on in Kauai last year... the water is literally 3 feet deep, little NO current, and completely clear! I think there are a lot of parents that put their kids in waaaaaay more danger than this!
