Alleged Mom Beater Gets Testy with Reporter

Larry Richette of Philadelphia doesn't seem like such a brainy guy -- but he certainly flashed those brains in front of reporter Monique Braxton of NBC 10.


In the grand tradition of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, ad crotcheum, Richette decided that brains would speak louder than words, and gave this poor woman a piece of his mind when she asked about allegations that he beat up his 79-year-old mother.

Richette has been accused of aggravated assault, simple assault, and reckless endangerment ... and now, assault with a floppy weapon.

28. No doubt the psycho tub-o-lard needs to be in jail, but that reporter could learn a thing or two from Barbara Walters. Ol' Babs woulda looked him straight in the eye & kept pointing the mic at him, cowed not in the least.

29. I live in Philadelphia and Judge Richette and her son Larry were clients of mine for years until I changed jobs. It's just very sad to see this happen. Judge Richette is a very nice lady and although she is eccentric she is a well respected judge here in Philadelphia and sat on the bench for decades. Larry has always been a bit unstable and it's just a sin that he has had one of his episodes in such a public way.
