331. Anyone who compares hunting to what Michael Vick did is a moron. Responsible hunters eat what they kill and they're not in it to torture animals. I'm sorry but i'd MUCH rather take a quick bullet to the head than be drowned or electrocuted. The things Mr. Vick did were obviously for pleasure as it seems he went out of his way to kill them cruelly. Anyone who's ever owned a dog knows they are innocent, loving creatures. I think people react this strongly because of that. Everyone's had a family dog they loved, and to think someone could do something so heartless to it is unimaginable. They're man's best friend, Mr. Vick, didn't you get the memo?

repents and ask GOD for Forgiveness and turns his life around GOD Will forgive him he can apologize to man all he wants and there will be those that hate him to the day they die. Yes, God is in control, who said that Vick repented? You have to repent for God to have mercy on your soul and forgive you. You must remember he LIED to the NFL Commisioner (not a good idea!). That does not sound like a repentance to me.

Some people treat their animals like a part of their family.

Dogs have owners who take them to visit the sick and elderly at hopitals, kids with cancer etc., I have seen it with my own eyes.

To put a dog through such a horrible death, rape, electrocution, etc... for the shear joy, or $ of it all is something I cannot even fathom.

My question is: Who does Michael Vick think he is?
Is that all he had to do was abuse dogs????
Wasn't there something else he could do besides have dogs raped, brutalized & killed.

When an animal is "put down" by a vet, it is done to where the animal just goes to sleep.
Not in Vick's case.

Sorry Meeka, the repentance has to come from Vick himself and his relationship with God.

Remember: In the Bible it talks about animals being God's creature's.
I don't feel an ounce of pitty for that S.O.B. Vick.

Vick is not a representative of black people - - he represents himself: a selfish, cruel individual. So stop the race-baiting and the race-bashing people, both black and white!

Black people don't have to defend themselves against Vick's behavior, and white people shouldn't globablize about a whole group of people based on what's going on with Vick.

It's not about affirmative action, it's not about slavery, it's not about what black people may or may not teach their children.

It's about this man, Vick, who has abused his power and celebrity and spent his money on something evil. He's paying for it now. Let's move on.

341. ugghhh... michael vick truely does not deserve the time or energy taken to write this. bottom line, he is a uneducated thug with no respect for life. don't care that he was raised in foster care & mistreated. don't care that dog fighting is part of his culture. don't care if he spends the rest of his life in prison - well, actually that one i do care about! MICHAEL VICK SUCKS! i hope there is something to the "carma" myth and that vick dies a violent, painful, lonely, and long death just like all of the innocent dogs he killed. and while he is in his final moments, i hope he sees people standing around that could save his life - and choose not to. 344. This kind of cruelty to animals is horrific and sad. Suspension is bs. He should be banned outright permanently. He should also do jail time. Hell, I think he ought to be shot for the suffering he caused them. I hate the idea of paying good money to house and feed anyone who'd do something like that.
