Vick: I Was Part of a Group That Killed Dogs

TMZ has obtained the plea agreement in the Michael Vick case. In it, Vick "admits the facts set forth in the statement of facts."

A portion of the summary of facts reads "Vick agreed to the killing of approximately 6-8 dogs that did not perform well in testing sessions ..." It continues, "All of those dogs were killed by various methods, including hanging and drowning."

The plea agreement reads, "the defendant agrees to forfeit all interests in any and all dogs involved (in) an animal fighting venture that the defendant owns or over which the defendant exercises control ... including but not limited to the approximately 54 pit bulldogs recovered from the residence ... "

The agreement also states that Vick will plead guilty to charges of conspiracy and sponsoring a dog in an animal fighting venture. He's also admitted to providing funding for dog food, medicine and purse fees for dog fighting competitions.

Vick could face up to 5 years in prison along with a substantial fine.

47. "All of those dogs were killed by various methods, including hanging and drowning."

That is so terrible. I felt so sad when I read that. How can human beings be so cruel to animals... I'm not a huge pet fan..in fact I don't really enjoy the company of dogs at all, but still that is so ... it's just really bad.

48. REGARDING COMMENTS FROM OTHER PEOPLE TOWARDS VICK: judging by the text and words of recent comments, many of you people are disturbed and ridiculous for yourselves. No one should wish bad things on no one whether friend or enemy. Karma is so real, when you have such evil thoughts and animosity, i pray that it doesn't come back to you or your family. I also, hope none of you act on those sick thoughts lerking thru out your heads.

50. Dogs have feeling's and Dog's aren't born into this world to be vicious. This sport seems to be traditional in Urban Areas. In California they want to pass a law to ban Pitbulls and Bull Mastifs. I dont think it's fair to punish these breeds because of the bad rap they obtain. It's Ignorant and evil people like this NFL star that profit from hurting these animals. These poor dogs dont have a voice. I live in SF and you won't believe how many of these breeds end up in shelters and uthinized because they are trained to be killers. Some end up being lucky and saved an adpoted by someone who want's to give them a chance. As a dog owner myself killing another animal especially a dog is something that angers me. I think he should go to jail at least for 2 years. After he is done he should do community service for a year at a Animal Rescue Center to see how awfull it is to encounter animals in Pain and distress. Bottom line is Animals Have Feeling's !!!! I hope he comes back a a dog in his next Lifetime.

51. ~ FRY HIM ~ If he gets less than 2 years I will be furious. This moron was in a position to be a roll model to youth everywhere, sadly his lack of ethics, morals, integrity, honor, compassion... (need I continue), has tainted him and left a question in everyone's minds... what other athletes and celebs are doing the same thing? Wake up America and get back to raising our kids to be good citizens and individuals!

55. Is his trial in Virginia? I assume it is, since that is where the crimes were committed. God help him if it is. They are tough down there. Quite frankly I hope it is. I hope he gets everything he has coming to him. I sincerely hope the judge doesn't fold on this, simply because he is rich and a celebrity.

For someone who has it all, he chooses to throw it all away. I don't understand that thinking. Then again, I don't understand the "thinking" that allows someone to do this to any animal.

Thanks Vick, for being one more reason that more states will ban Pit Bulls. If raised PROPERLY, they can make good pets.

Animals are not just dumb animals, put on the face of the earth for humans to do what they will to them. That is also scary thinking.

For anyone, or any group, to support his behavior and free choice in making his decision to do so...what does that say about you?
