"Oui," Wee Suri

Suri and her mother were seen shopping in Paris yesterday, and lil' Suri showed more emotion than her mother has since she got married. The Paris shopping spree seemed painful for the precious Scientolotot!

While on the town, photogs spotted Suri, 1, crying when mom took a pen away from her ... but as soon as the waterworks were turned on, mom caved and gave it back! No emotion, ever!!

The brown-bobbed duo is in gay ol' Paree while daddy is in Germany making that Hitler movie.

78. I didn't read all of the comments here but agree with several of the issues raised:

If Katie wants/needs to do all of this shopping, she should bring appropriate items for Suri to play with (a toy, a magnadoodle pad, Legos, etc.) -- a pen is not going to occupy the attention span of a 1-year-old! Or Katie needs to bring a nanny along to properly take care of Suri while she shops (we all know she can afford it). Or Katie needs to leave Suri with a nanny who can either watch Suri for a few hours while mommy shops, or the nanny could bring Suri to a place that's more fun for kids -- I'm sure they have kid-focused museums and parks in Paris, right? But that wouldn't make for the right photo op, now would it...

I, too, questioned why Katie would not use a stroller for all of this shopping she's been doing while Tommy shoots his Nazi flick, but it seems like most celebrities hold their children close to them instead of using strollers. With all of the papparazzi and who knows who else following them, I do understand this. But we've seen pictures of Katie dragging this poor child around Paris and other destinations... I'm sure Katie thinks she's spending "quality time" with Suri by not using a nanny, but I certainly wouldn't call shopping "quality time."

79. If you look at the video closely she does bump her forehead on the hard ground. You can see her pointing to the floor when she's crying. It happens, my 11 month old does it ALL the time. This does not make Katie a bad mother. Get over yourselves.

80. What's the big deal with the car seat? It's against the law in the US. I dont know - is it against the law in France? Yeah, it's a safety thing. If it's not illegal in France there is nothing you can do about it.

This is the first time I've heard anything about Katie almost dropping Suri or Suri almost getting hit by a car. Anyone have the links to these videos? Sounds like the Cruise family are having a difficult week. With all the security detail around them I'm astounded a car could get close. I feel sorry for Katie - she's got to answer to Tom.

81. I had to laugh at the Sydney Morning Herald's headline earlier this week. It said James Packer uses that old black magic to avoid millions in tax. Yeah he's such an economic wiz.

It's called joining Scientology.

It's been around since the beginning of time. Ancient Egyptians, Masons (Paris) Wizards/Crossfire, Vamps. Every religion has a magical contamination. In magic's latest version we have the newly packaged Scientology. A very old crappy present that keeps getting wrapped in different paper.

Magic's aim is to brainwash you into thinking the door to up will actually take you down.

"Hypothetically" if you see a UFO and TomKat and the world's "influential" all jump on board, people would follow but you may as well pick up your broomsticks and fly off into the sunset.

For Kate the pork chop was too tempting. Homer had the doughnut she had a childhood dream. So she traded in faith for magic. She looks happy so I don't think it really matters .... to her. UFO's need Flight Attendant's I guess.

82. It kind of doesn't matter whether it's illegal there or not, it's common sense. those vidoes can be seen on this site, just look them up.

86. Oh for god's sake leave the babies alone. What mother is perfect 100% of the time? it doesn't matter that she's shopping in paris, it could be anywhere. But most mothers don't have camera's shoved in there faces everytime they step out in public. What child doesn't have a tantrum in public that needs to be handled? She's already married and living with that control freak in a compound back home . This kind of publicity and media will only add new pressures to her life.

88. These are all normal things that happen to all parents, unfortunate things, things we wish would not happen, but normal nonetheless.

89. Experts would say a mother should distract their child from what was taken from them and NOT give them back what they want, otherwise they learn that crying is a way to manipulate people. Take the pen away, ignore the tears and show the child something else that is acceptable to play with. The kid will forget about what they were crying about and mother keeps control.

90. You call that a tantrum?! I've seen older kids than Suri who can throw better and longer tantrums than hers. BTW, she bonked her forehead on the floor, which caused her to cry for a few brief seconds. Not surprising behavior from a toddler. Where's the story here?
