Pitt to Paps -- Back Off When Kids Are Around

Brad Pitt understands how the paparazzi game works -- and now he's trying to orchestrate an understanding when it comes to snapping him with his expanding brood.

A cool and respectful Pitt approached paps in New York yesterday as he entered an office building for a script reading, saying, "Man, you guys work hard!" He added that he'd be around the city with his children, and asked a favor of the photogs, saying, "Anything you guys can do long-lens would be much appreciated. You're workin' hard, you guys." Get this guy an embassy appointment!

Brad makes it look easy to be an international superstar with manners.

77. Why do you people insist on complaining about the kids being "dragged around"? These people can afford tutors for their kids so they don't need to go to public school like your kids. Therefore, they don't have to worry about missing days out of school like your kids do. If I were wealthy and could afford to, I'd drag my kids around the world in a heartbeat. Why should they spend time learning about things in a classroom when they can see them for themselves. Why tell them about places on a map, when I can take them there? Why have someone teach them a language in a classroom when they can go to that country and learn in person? Stop hating them because they have everything you can only dream of having. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

78. They have every right to take their kids out in public and expect people to back off. Why should their kids have to be hidden because people are obsessive about taking their picture? Their kids have every right to go to amusement parks, shopping, sporting events, etc. and expect people to leave them alone. They are not the celebrities, their parents are. You people complaining about them taking their kids out are just mad because you can't take your kids the places they can take theirs. And mad because you have to work and probably only spend time with your kids on the weekend. Too bad. That's your problem, not theirs. Don't hate.
