DMX - Where Your Dogs At?

New evidence has been uncovered in the latest high-profile animal abuse case, this time involving rapper DMX.

In a report from KSAZ-TV in Phoenix, a further search of the property yielded three canine corpses, one of which "seemed to be burned." Also found -- "a large number of weapons, some drug paraphernalia, and a lot of cars that don't match the license plates." Y'all gonna make me lose my mind!

DMX's lawyer, Murray Richman, claims the rapper (real name Earl Simmons) hasn't been to his Arizona home for several months. Richman told TMZ, "Earl had a caretaker, who obviously wasn't taking care. Earl loves those dogs." No arrests have been made.

46. I'm sorry, but when it comes to the abuse of innocent animals, that's going way too far

47. Here's how stupid this guy is: He moves to a small town that probable has 5 African-Americans TOTAL, (I know because I live in C.C.) So he thinks he can buy a place out in the desert and do whatever he pleases. Neighbors first start complaing about him because he and his "caretakers" are 4-wheeling in the desert at 2:00am. Then people see the dogs. The poor animals are boney. No water out for them and it's 110 in the shade. But this guy has some bucks and major attitude so he thinks nobody's going to notice? He painted a big ol' target on his backside. And his color aside, this is horse country and people pay attention to the way you treat your animals. His biggest mistake was to try and pull this stuff in Maricopa Co. where the sherrif prides himself on rooting out animal abuse. That bugger's gonna look real good in pink underware. Hope he enjoys his 2 bologna sandwhiches a day

49. absolutely disgusting... i feel no pity for this man or anyone that would treat a helpless animal this way. he, along with micheal vick, deserve every ounce of punishment they receive. to think that a person can knowingly and purposely harm animals in this way... and live with themselves... just breaks my heart.

50. If he loves his dogs so much, then why was he being cruel to 13 of them in 1999? Now 12 more that are in horrendous condition. He shouldn't be allowed to own dogs if he can't take care of them, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. How hard is it to put a bowl of food and some water in front your dog? NOT THAT HARD!!! And I don't care if it's the caretakers fault. DMX owns the dogs and therefore he is liable for the conditions they are.

I don't get WHY so many celebs have pets and pawn them off on other people to take care of them.

51. Katie celebrities are above the law. You DO know that right? They can drink and drive, do drugs, steal a car, run someone over, carry a controlled substance, take people hostage, on and on. They are the rich and famous and they make the rules for themselves and everyone bows to them.

Get with the program.

56. I grew up in Michael Vick's hometown and he did NOT grow up in the ghetto. So can you ignorant, scared to say the racist things to a black persons face so I'll post them online, no common sense having bastards stop with the racist comments?

To Doug, I am a black person with more than one pitbull. . .does that make me ghetto and a thug too?

I dont agree with animal cruelty and am not condoning what these men are being accused of, but to sit up here and judge them makes anyone that does it better than these two. If God does punish them for what they did, so be it. Hell, I say let them do 1 day in jail like LiLo. . .better yet, 86 minutes?

57. #91..Willy

Oh, puleeze! Here we go again. Just how long do the american people have to hear the sob stories on how oppressed the native american, and african americans were a gazillion years ago. I, for one, am not responsible for your past histories. Many generations before me were responsible. It's PAST history..forget it..move on...get a life! The subject on this blog is about animal cruelty. It is a proven fact, that one who abuses animals moves on to other unacceptable behaviors. It's too bad that there isn't a death sentence for people who abuse animals...makes no difference what color you are!

58. BABYGIRL.................
listen up, i"m so tired of everything being a race issue, BOTTOMLINE they found a burnt dog buried in his yard. no one says your a bad animal abuser but...... if there are any burnt dogs buried in your yard or mine then im sure youd be there to get the truth just as i would...

59. Maybe they can get off for good behavior if they go to rehab first. . .

What I want to know is why is it okay to euthanize the dogs that were found on either of the premises? Why not try to rehabilitate the dogs? It may be difficult, but not impossible. It is also possible to be ignorant of the law and get away with it. . .Look at Nicole Ritchie. She claimed she didn't know Vicodin and marijuana would affect her senses, got behind the wheel (could have killed me or you) and was in jail an hour and 26 minutes. Maybe Mike Vick didn't know the law; maybe DMX's caretaker did leave the dogs. . .we don't know. . .not even the people leaving these racist comments know b/c they weren't there and neither was I.

60.
Get with the program.
Your confusing issues. Katie asked what is so hard about caring for these animals, which has nothing to do with being a celerity.
If he was above everyone else he would not be going down right now. Hope the same holds true when he is convicted.
