62. wow, I thought Jamie Foxx had it more together than that...what a disappointment..."it's a culteral thing"...maybe if they had some culture they wouldn't be acting like lowlife criminals...It's really a shame that these "celebrities"..black, white, Asian, Latin...whatever have no class and are so unappreciative of the opportunities they've been lucky enough to be given...what a bunch of morons! I would laugh my ass off if one of these guys were found mauled by dogs!

Oh, puleeze! Here we go again. Just how long do the american people have to hear the sob stories on how oppressed the native american, and african americans were a gazillion years ago. I, for one, am not responsible for your past histories. Many generations before me were responsible. It's PAST history..forget it..move on...get a life! The subject on this blog is about animal cruelty. It is a proven fact, that one who abuses animals moves on to other unacceptable behaviors. It's too bad that there isn't a death sentence for people who abuse animals...makes no difference what color you are!

64. I grew up in Michael Vick's hometown and he did NOT grow up in the ghetto. So can you ignorant, scared to say the racist things to a black persons face so I'll post them online, no common sense having bastards stop with the racist comments?

I dont agree with animal cruelty and am not condoning what these men are being accused of, but to sit up here and judge them makes anyone that does it better than these two. If God does punish them for what they did, so be it. Hell, I say let them do 1 day in jail like LiLo. . .better yet, 86 minutes?

What I want to know is why is it okay to euthanize the dogs that were found on either of the premises? Why not try to rehabilitate the dogs? It may be difficult, but not impossible. It is also possible to be ignorant of the law and get away with it. . .Look at Nicole Ritchie. She claimed she didn't know Vicodin and marijuana would affect her senses, got behind the wheel (could have killed me or you) and was in jail an hour and 26 minutes. Maybe Mike Vick didn't know the law; maybe DMX's caretaker did leave the dogs. . .we don't know. . .not even the people leaving these racist comments know b/c they weren't there and neither was I.

Pitt bulls, or ANY dog that has been trained to fight CANNOT be rehabilitated. Have you taken a good look at the photos of these dogs? I can't believe they were still alive. Anyone who treats any animal this way should have the same treatment done to them, then execute them..society doesn't need these kind of people.. save the tax payers some money. Rehab? Anger management? Doesn't work! Just take a look at a few of the recent celebrities in the news. Didn't work for them.

69. Kay- I dont want it to be a race issue either. And I asked that question b/c someone made a comment that people dont need more than one pitbull and called these men ghetto. Doing something stupid while black doesnt make anyone ghetto nor does it make somebody a hillbilly for being white and stupid. That was the point I was trying to make.

I had one of my pitbulls die in my backyard. Broke my heart. Thought about just burying the dog in the backyard too. But to sentence somebody to die for killing one is too much.. Not everyone that kills another human get the death penalty, so why should they?

Animal lovers seem to love their pets more than human life. Animals in todays society rely solely on humans to take care of them. With dogs, their main goal is to make their caretaker/owner happy, and to treat them inhumanely is unnacceptable in my book.

72. And yet those celebs got off with little to no jail time. hmmm. .and, yes, there is a possibility that a dog that has been trained to fight can be rehabilitated. I asked that question before I bought the ones I bought. And I'm not confused. I dont need to get with any program because I dont agree with everybody. What makes us as non-celebrities who mess up from time to time better than those who are celebs who mess up? Like I said b4, some people don't get the death penalty for murder; why should they for the death of dogs?

To#89: Wasn't defending anyones actions agains't animal cruelty. I just find it hilarious when clowns get in an uproar over animals getting slayed more than other human beings. Shows you have some f'd up priorities and dont know which to put first. It gets really old really fast. I dont accept or promote cruelty on any creature but I know there's way more important issues in the world than a slain dog. Also what happen too innocent until proven guilty everyones quick to point the finger at the minorities without even having reasonable doubt. Hop of his di*k and let him get a fair trail like your precious lindsay and paris. Thats all I have to say in regards to this issue
