91. If he is guilty of animal abuse, DMX deserves to go away for some time. But like others have said, this is not a racial issue. I am extremely embarrassed by many of the racist posts I'm reading from White people. Who do you think you are? I know. You're just ignorant and uneducated and you don't know what you're saying right? Say what you will about hunting, killing a cow for a hamburger, whatever....these animals were bred, raised, trained, drugged, and killed for the sole purpose of entertainment...

I totoally agree, and the civil rights leaders should be turning over in their graves as well....you are 100% correct. What would Martin Luther King say if he seen this world today and how people act. I only stated "your society" and "your people" because that's how MOST blacks see it.....divided into "you guys" versus "us". When people like me say that, I am only repeating what the blacks say. It HAs only started becoming equal int he last 30 years or so....and look what's happened to society in America in the last 30 years or so? Just a coincidence? I don't think so.

What stories like this does is heighten the stereotype placed on young black men. These men make more money than most of us can only dream, and yet they throw it all away. What is the mentality behind this?

While other ethnic cultures in America are thriving and becoming equal members of society, stories like this just reaffirm the fact to MANY in America that the young black people today just do not GET it. They seem to have no respect or morals for anything living, human OR animal.....even other blacks. It's a proven fact that half of all black men of 18 do not even get high school diploma's, and that the #1 killer of all black men ages 18 to 25 is homicide. Your Civil Rights leaders from the past would be shocked and sickened to see what is going on with black youth of today and what many of them are doing with their freedom and their lives.

I have all the respect in the world for older/elderly black folks, as I can't even imagine what they had to endure in their young lives. It seems to me that your grandmammas and grandpapa's need to be pulling many of these young men to the side and giving them a good old fashioned lesson in how hard blacks had to work to become equal and how to respect that. Like it or not, it only takes a few bad apples to ruin a bunch and it seems that blacks hold blacks down. These stories do NOT help you, they hurt you MORE than you realize. If a man has no respect for even a helpless animal, he has no respect for anything else either.

You cannot blame the white any longer, Michael Vick...DMX, they had all the opportunities in the WORLD and yet they throw it away for nothing. It's sickening and your elders should be shocked and ashamed at what is going on with young blacks nowadays. Young black people today are laughing in the face everything that their ancestors went through for their freedoms, it's called no respect and no morals...it's sickening.

Do these people not realize how lucky they are? Do they not sit and think of what it would have been like if they were alive 100 years ago? Do they not thank the lord every day for their riches and freedom? Do they not look in their grandmamma's face and say "I am going to live every day of my life to make her proud of me?"

They just don't get it. THEY ARE HURTING YOUR CULTURE AND SOCIETY. OTHER blacks should be even MORE outraged by these stories, they are bringing you down.
