Akon's Sorry Song -- Is It His? Sorry, No!

AkonAkon, hip-hop singer and amateur concertgoer tosser, is singing a new tune -- "Sorry, Blame It On Me" -- where he offers apologies for his recent troublesome events -- including lewd dancing at a club in Trinidad with a 14-year-old pastor's daughter, and causing Verizon to dump their sponsorship of Gwen Stefani's tour, reportedly because of Akon's shenanigans. Someone's had a busy summer!

TMZ inside sources reveal that Akon did not pen the song. Say what?! It seems DJ and producer Clinton Sparks actually wrote the entire ballad -- even though his credit is listed as co-writer and producer. Sparks will fly!

This leaves many wondering if Akon's apology is more of a publicity stunt to capitalize on his bad decisions. An insincere apology? From a man who allegedly practices polygamy? Say it ain't so!

16. Actually, anna, when he sings "even though the blame's on you" he's not referring to the whole song. He's referring to the incident at Club Zen, which should take the blame for what happened.

17. I observed that some racist comments were posted on the story concerning Akon's (sorry, blame it on me) song. That is really unfortunate. The song is unambiguos, clear and easy for the dumbest person out there to understand. So, I wonder why even after listening to it, some irrational people are still raining insult on the versatile, creative and extremely talented Senegalese. WHY BLAME A GUY WHO JUST WENT TO TRINIDAD TO ENTERTAIN HIS FANS. Is he a magician to have known the girl he danced with was underage? Would those saying terrible things about him truly blame him for that? He's only human and even though he's not to blame for the much publicized incident, he has gone ahead to take the blame and apologize. It takes a real man to say I'm sorry even when he has done nothing wrong. What more do these blind critics want from him? His life? I hope not. PLEASE,
THOSE BIASED AMERICANS CRITICIZING MY AFRICAN BROTHER SHOULD LEAVE HIM ALONE. LET HIM BE. I'd also like to use this opportunity to thank those reasonable Americans who have spoken in defence of Akon. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

18.
First of all if i was Kon i wouldn't have made that song at all.Cus he didn't do nothing wrong.Nobody forced nobody to do anything and everybody got in trouble anyways so all of them paid their price including gwen stefani when she didnt do anything. So whats there else to talk about.Every fan of Konvict Muzik allready knows who wrote the song and who directed this video thats not secret at all.Go to Akons official site and just check his tour man is to busy to get some sleep nor much writte songs.Im disapointed in media totally i mean what happened to creative writing..why isnt anyone writting about things more happening in the world and stop carying how to make quick bucks .Its truly sad that letely its been about Lindsey ,Paris

21. It does not matter what her age was. Even if she was 21 or older, his actions with her onstage were dispicable, to say the least. He should not have degraded her like that, and age has nothing to do with it, so yes, he should take some responsibility for his actions.

22. I think most people need to understand the Akon incident was more about the lieing. He told his fans that if girls came on stage and grinded on him, the best one would win a trip to Africa. After the girls competed, he told them it was all a joke....that shows how much respect he really has for his fans...and women. And you can tell most of you haven't seen the actual clips from the concert. With one girl he danced with, it wasn't "rough." With the under-age girl he was literally tossing her around like a rag doll. After he left her on the stage, stage crew rushed out to make sure she was OK. That is NOT normal. If you want to grind fine but don't make up some stupid contest, lie to your fans, and then physically hurt them.

The song was just added insult to injury. You are clearly not sorry when, one, you make a song to gain profit, and, two, you tell people even though the blame is on them you can put the blame on him. It wasn't like he was even saying even thought the blame is on BOTH of us, it was straight the blame is in fact all you but because I am such a great guy you can put it on me. Not to mention Verizon disgraced his name?? No sweetie, you disgraced yourself, Verizon, Gwen, your fans, and other rappers who really are trying to do right.

23. AKON IS AWESOME, HE IS ONE OF THE BEST NEW ARTISTS OUT, he has nothing to apoligize for, MAYBE THE FATHER OF THE YOUNG GIRL SHOULD HAVE BETTER CONTROL OF HIS DAUGHTER, (he is a pastor, and if he raised his daughter right she wouldn't have even been at the show) ALSO, MAYBE THE CLUB SHOULD FIND OUT WHO WAS WORKING THE DOORS THAT NIGHT AND LET THE UNDERAGE GIRL INTO THE CLUB.
ISN'T IT SO MUCH MORE FUN TO BLAME TROUBLES ON SOMEONE ELSE WHO IS STRONGER AND MOR ABLE TO DEAL WITH THE BACKLASH.
F*@K THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

24. You're a good singer and i thought a good song writer. You just need to use your own work...it's more unique that way don't you think?

26. Akon said all he had to, what about you and me? How sincere is our apology, how do those we offend really know we are so sorry or how do we really know we are sorry? See, if you were Akon, you really meant what you said and don’t care about what others felt about it. If you don’t like Akon, say it, but don’t twang with somebody’s feelings… Think about it, the brother comes up to say hes some about things we know he did, and we say he is NOT serious....
