17. It becomes increasingly clear that Britney is too sick to be responsible for anyone else until such time as she gets herself under control. I would not say that she should not EVER have custody of her children--she did, after all, bear them, and probably loves them as much as it is possible for her, but not at present. I feel sorry for her, in a way, because she was in a situation of celebrity and power that led her down the wrong path.
Too much money and too much celebrity seem to attract disaster--especially for the very young.

19. Ok now, I think the girl is a lost cause for sure, but really, reporting on her dog having a cast?!?!?! That stuff happens every day, my kid stepped on a pups leg when she was 2, even if one her kids did it, lots of toddlers have mishaps with animals! If you stop reporting her every move, and she sees no one is paying attention, the moron might start to clean up her act (and I suppose it might snow in He--).

21. these people need to get a life i guess she was abusing the dog when it was taken to the vet to be treated also. people know that she is having major problems right now so they are taking every opportunity to aggitate things and make them into something they aren't. it amazes me that aol and other news streams can constantly insult people and call them name swhen their probably just as bad but haven't been caught yet. and all these other judgemental, self-consuming idiots need to clean up their own lives before someone elses

Laura read and quote the whole posting. Your taking bits and pieces loses the gest of the comment . TMZ is raging a war with posts about alleged child abuse and mistreatment of Brit's children and dog ( even the dog stuff at as it turns out was false.). TMZ's chronic media hyped stories could be better serve somewhere else cause false stories are borish and Just Like Perez Hilton is taking heat for his claim that 100% Fidel Castro died so will TMZ for repeatedly posting stories about Britney Spears that pan out to be untrue. TMZ does not want ot be known as just another Perez Hilton site!

26. I'd like to know the name of the cop who let Brit off with a warning when she was speeding to Las Vegas! I'm 68 yrs. old and had not had a ticket in 30 yrs. Last month I got 2 tickets within 3 weeks for very small infractions. Where is the fairness??????????? I suppose if I was young and pretty and a celeb, I would've just got warnings!!!

27. You moron - that's what the SPCA does!! And they DO have the right! They investigate claims of animal abuse! That puppy had its leg broken because of carelessness and inattention. Britney seems not to know a lot of things about raising her kids, and also her pets. She shouldn't be allowed to have helpless living things in her care

28. Of course she is off the hook!!! However the damage is done!! Who calls in a report like this??? If the dog had a cast on, then obviously it got medical care. She gets picked on for things that happen to average Americans all the time. I know someone who had one of these small dogs and stepped on it and killed it getting up to go to the bathroom one night. Things happen!!! Hundreds of people drive every day without their kids properly restrained, hundreds of people take their kids out on boats without life jackets, people give their kids juice and soda and do not practice proper oral hygeine with their kids and people have their kids out and about passed what "SOME" Americans would percieve as the appropriate bedtime (I never knew there was a law requiring kids sleep at certain given times....it is the amount of sleep they get, not the time frame they do it in).....Brit is not the only parent out there who is not perfect and she has done nothing with those kids that thousands of non-famous Americans do ALL the time! I would bet that K-Fed was the reporter of this or he was the one who instigated someone else doing it. Anything to try and her in the public eye and media!

30. Honestly, I think it's a shame that she is being hounded day after day. How would you like seeing stories about yourself where you're being degraded, sometimes multiple times a day? DFCS, SPCA, attorneys, harassment, paparazzi following her every move.. etc etc etc...When and if she cracks, it will be the media's fault. I think she's due a break and I'm not even a fan of hers.
