362. Depression does not discriminate due to age, social or financial status........ when you are suicidal, nothing matters but stopping the pain. Money and fame brings responsibility and stress. Add drugs or alcohol and it is a disaster waiting to happen. Whether it was an actual attempt or a cry for help..... let's pray for Luke's recovery. He's a fellow human being in pain.

364. How would anyone know how HE was/is feeling if you don't even know Mr. Wilson... I think he is an incredible actor, he's sooo funny and I am sad that he tried to kill himself.. Even the rich and famous have problems, they are just like everyone else, they eat, they talk, they sleep, etc..Give him a break.. Papparazzi should let his family and himself deal with this and not trying to get pics of them during a difficult time like the one they are going through. I hope Owen makes a full recovery, and receive the happiness he wants..

365. I seriously doubt this was some kind of 'stunt'. I myself am extremely depressed, but I hide it VERY well.
I also tried to end my life at one point. It had nothing to do with money. I was living rent free and I didn't have to pay a dime where I was living. But the depression got the better of me, and I just felt I couldn't continue on anymore.
And to those who say 'if he really wanted to die, he would've', well I had to be broght back two times. I almost didn't make it. And that was the point, not to make it.
I only say this because I understand how someone, no matter how much money they have, can be severly depressed to the point of wanting to die.
I always say it's better to be poor and happy than rich and miserable.
Just because he has money, that doesn't automatically make him a happy person.
He just needs time to heal and to be around people that care about him to help him through this difficult time.
And those making fun of him, I wish you could spend a day in his shoes to find out what's really going on with him.
I always say that about peope who think I'm out for 'attention' or don't think I 'look' sick.
It's easy to bottle up your feelings, but one day you may explode and do something you never thought you had in you.
Give the guy a break. He's a great actor and has made me laugh through out the years.
I wish him only the best and hope gets well soon.

367. THIS IS BETTER THEN DEATH. THIS IS A CRY FOR HELP. SOME PEOPLE JUST DON'T KNOW HOW OR WHO TO ASK FOR HELP.
AS AN EX HEROIN ADDICT FOR MANY MANY YEARS. I KNOW THE FEELING OF BEING IN A HOTEL ROOM AND HAVING A PILE OF DOPE. CRYING , CRYING AND JUST CRYING BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO FEEL. THAT'S IT , I JUST DIDN'T WANT TO FEEL. I HATED EVERYTHING I DID AND WAS DOING. THE ONLY WAY THE PAIN WOULD STOP WAS WHEN I WAS ASLEEP. I WAS NOT IN CONTACT WITH ANYBODY. PEOPLE WERE LOOKING FOR ME. THEY KNEW I NEEDED HELP.
ONE NIGHT I WENT TO A RICH UNCLE AND AUNTS HOUSE IN BEVERLEY HILLS. OFCOURSE I GOT CLEANED UP FIRST BEFORE SEEING THEM. I ASKED IF I COULD BORROW SOME MONEY? HE GAVE ME $200.00 AND THEN CALLED THE REST OF MY FAMILY. THEY TOLD HIM NOT TO GIVE ME ANYMORE MONEY.
YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER I WAS SHOOTING DOPE SINCE I WAS 13 YEARS OLD. I ALWAYS WORKED FOR MY MONEY. I HAPPENED TO GET LAID OFF THAT WEEK AND DIDN'T HAVE ANY MONEY COMING IN. HE TOLD ME HE WOULD CALL ME THE NEXT DAY AND WOULD GIVE ME MORE MONEY. SO I WAS DRULLING NOW. I GOT THE PAGE FROM HIM AND CALLED HIM. HE ASKED ME IF I NEEDED HELP. WITHOUT ANY HESITATION I SAID YES. THE NEXT DAY I WAS ON A PLANE TO MINN. TO A PLACE CALLED HASELTIN.

MANY ACTORS AND SINGERS HAVE BEEN THROUGH THERE. WHEN THEY DON'T WANT ANYONE TO KNOW THEIR BIZ. THEY DON'T GO TO BETTY FORD OR THAT PLAY SCHOOL IN MALIBU. I AM NOW 54 YEARS OLD. RETIRED FROM THE MOTION PICTURE BIZ. LIVING WITH MY WIFE WHO STUCK BY ME NO MATTER WHAT.

SO REMEBER FOLKS. THAT PERSON IN THAT CARDBOARD BOX COULD BE YOU, YOUR BROTHER OR YOUR SISTER WHO HAS TO TURN TRICKS FOR HER DOPE.

IF YOU WERE ABLE TO READ THIS. THINK ABOUT IT. IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN TO LONG FOR SOME OF YOU NIT WITS. THE NEXT TIME YOU TRY A DRUG YOU JUST MIGHT LIKE HOW IT FEELS. YOU WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET THOSE DRUGS.

PEOPLE WITH MONEY ARE JUST AS UNHAPPY AS US ALL. THEY JUST HAVE IT A LITTLE EASIER. THEY HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY THE DRUGS AND THE PEOPLE TO SUPPLY THEM WITH THE DRUGS. SO JUST REMEMBER 1 IS TO MANY AND A 1000 IS NEVER ENOUGH. SO STAY AWAY FROM TRYING THAT DRUG. YOU JUST MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO STOP USING IT.

YES IT'S FUN FOR A FEW WEEKS OR SO. WHEN YOU WAKE UP ONE MORNING SHAKING, YOUR SWEATING BUT COLD. YOU HAVE THE CRUD. YOU CAN'T CONTROL YOUR BOWL. YOU ARE THROWING UP AND HAVE NO MONEY OR STRANTH TO GO GET YOUR HEROIN. WHAT WILL YOU DO??????? IT'S NOT A GAME PEOPLE. IT'S LIFE OR DEATH. YOU CAN CHOOSE TO GO EITHER WAY. CHOOSE THE RIGHT WAY....
KIDS TODAY I HEAR STEAL MEDICATION FROM THEIR PARENTS AND PUT THE MEDS IN A BOWL. THEN THEY TAKE A HAND FULL OF WHO KNOWS WHAT. THEY COULD BE TAKING EXLAX AND POOPING IN THEIR PANTS FOR THE NEXT 3 DAYS. GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL,

368. no one knows how deep and dark that pit is until you find yourself in it - for those who say Owen has nothing to worry about - were you in there with him?? Do you know what was in his heart and mind at that moment in time - Thank God he's still here. Please find someone that you feel comfortable talking to and confiding in, and talk - you are worth fighting for, and you have a destiny that no one but you can fulfill. 370. All of you idiots who are insisting "OW has no reason to commit suicide" - just how do you know? Do you follow him around checking everything that goes on his life? And the biggest idiot who blamed him for not being married - maybe that's why he wanted to die. Maybe he's like a million other people on the planet and he's lonely because he can't find The Right Woman. Shame on you people - you're disgusting. I wish him all the best, until he actively shows me he's a terrible person. So far, he hasn't done that.

371. Depression and addiction do not belong to the poor.......they unfortunately belong to any human being, even Owen Wilson. Why do people think just because you have money etc. that you are immune from these?
