91. People that do not suffer from clinical depression have no idea what feelings you experience. It is hard to explain. I live in a home on the lake, I am married to a beautiful, intelligent ex-cheerleader, I have no debt other than my mortgage and hundreds of thousands of dollars in the bank, she and I are in good health and her family is the epitome of perfection and love me as one of their own, yet at times I am at the depths of despair over nothing. I can't remember the last time I felt joy in my life. At times I just don't want to get out of bed and do anything. Even doing things that I loved doing as a child I feel empty. I would have been dead by now if my wife had not urged me to go see a doctor and get some medication. It works for a while and then you just have to change to something different. My mother committed suicide and two of my siblings were admitted to the hospital after attempts. It is genetic. Don't EVER tell a suicidal person to "just get over it". I can't explain to people that don't suffer from depression what it is like, so all I will do is urge you to be more understanding. Money, good looks, nice home, being famous - none of that means a damn thing if your head is screwed up. Actually - none of that stuff means anything anyway. People wonder how poor people can be "so happy". Well, it doesn't have anything to do with what you have,, absolutely nothing.

92. "Tarawa" was right on, this was an almost stereotypical case of "look at me", not a suicide attempt. I do feel bad for any person who gets to the point of considering an act like this, and we have no idea what may be going on in his life, but had he realllllllly wanted to end it, it would have happened.

Perspective is invaluable - money, fame, women, popularity, looks, and he's miserable. I hope he finds peace with himself, too bad he dragged everyone else into his "private" matter.

95. Everyday, thousands of people are murdered around the world and most of you could care less. A Hollywood celeb cuts himself and you all come to his aide with prayers and well wishes.

Hypocrites!

You don't care about mankind, only your desire to be entertained.

96. #10 you are right in saying if someone really wants to kill themself they can, this man obviously didnt want to succeed, he was screaming out for help. we should all be compassionate towards him because he is obviously hurting awfully bad about something in his life. thankfully he didnt succeed in his "permanet solution" to a temporary problem. my hope is that he gets the help he needs and that gods angels surround him in his time of need.

97. IF he wants to keep it quiet than
he should have taken himself quietly to a mental health professional and
Not done what he did.
It is something we will all think about. when and if, we choose to spend our money to see him in a movie again
What a dope.

98. Owen, I am sad to hear you are going through difficult times.

I do wish you a speedy recovery.

My hope for you is that you are allowed the time needed to heal in peace.

I pity the poor souls that feed off the sad times and the crisis of others. What a sad, sad pathetic, empty life they must all live.

101. What's this obsession with Owen's nose. He's one HOT guy, with the coolest smile in the Hollywood! And a great body.

Not to mention his talent for comedy. This guy's a true original. So stop it with the superficial nose job comments.

I love the whole package. Stay true, you sexy man.

I've dated a few model type guys. Dull. None could hold a candle to Owen's sex appeal.

105. You people on this blog make me sick. Here we have a guy who is unfortunately in agreat deal of pain and all you do is make fun, and joke about his nose. Depression is a very serious illness. It has nothing to do with how famous you are or how much money you have. All of you idiots on this blog need to go party with Tom Cruise. I grew up with this guy who was popular, so handsome, had everything going for him. He always felt he wasnt good enough. He blew his head off with a shotgun. NO one could understand it. His parents said that his whole life he felt he just didnt measure up to others. He always felt he wasnt good enough, no matter what he accomplished or what others tried to convince him of. This is a sickness. Stop making fun. Owen could have this problem or he could be abusing alcohol, or drugs . Evidently this is a cry for help. Thank God he didnt succeed. Like the idiot on this blog blog said, oh it was a scratch on the wrist all he wanted was attention. Dude what the hell do you know???? NOTHING so shut up !!
I pray Owen and everyome else who is out there thinking about trying to end their life for what ever reason gets help. Life is precious. I know sometimes things seem overwhelming. Just take it one day at a time. Tell others how you are feeling and get the help you need. God be with all those out there that are suffering.
