Hot Vegas
Ahoy, Mateys! Paris at Treasure Island

Paris Hilton is in Las Vegas. Zzzzzzzzzz.

TMZ spotted Hilton walking into TI last night, where she met with 35 of her closest friends for dinner at Social House. Sporting a super cute bob -- see ya later extensions! -- Paris clomped her giant feet across the casino floor, talking on her cell the whole time.

Hilton is in town to celebrate the launch of her Dollhouse clothing line, with parties at Social House and PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace.

61. I ordered some items from the Paris Hilton line at Kitson and I an't wait for her new cologne to come out on October.
The PH clothes will hit upscale department stores everywhere in October too.

There must be clothes that Kitson is not showing at this time because Paris has been wearing cute dresses which she said are from her line too.
Can't wait, I love everything Paris Hilton. Her things always have a lot of detail work on them.

63. I love reading comments about Paris Hilton by people who haven't the slightest clue about what the truth is. People who know Paris know a different story than what the tabloids tell, and people who know Paris also don't care what idiots think about her. I think it is great that a large number of the public don't think much of Paris because of the misinformation they so easily swallow, because that leaves more of Paris for me. It often makes me wonder why so many people seem desperate to put down Paris, yet they can't seem to do a thing about a criminal president who trashed the country and will probably open his moronic mouth and get us back into a nuclear cold war with the Russians and the Chinese.

Hey retard, obviously you are the only idiot on the planet who has not seen any of the videos of her or her interview on Larry King, ya know, the one where she said that she was going to do all these good things for ex-convicts and that she had found God and all that other verbal diahrhea that spewed forth from the only hole bigger than the one she displayed in her porno movie. Wake the f#%$ up you dumbass and buy a computer or a TV.

68. To ValerieSara

Attending charity events for photo ops, etc. are just a few reasons why so many people don't "buy into" this "new" Paris. She is still the most disrespected "celebrity" in America today. People don't "buy into" PR hype. If someone dislikes or disrespects someone, it does not make them a "negotard," despite your wishful thinking, and the exhaustive efforts of her new PR team. She is still considered to be a posing phony by many.

69. To ValerieSara - Amfar

Oh, please – you sound like a publicist. “One of the three chairs to AMFAR in September”? Aside from Hilton, there are dozens of other co-chairs to this event as well. This press ditty was released over a week ago. Paris got this gig because she is a friend of and has partied with Andrea Bernholtz (President of Rock and Republic Fashion) and Michael Ball, founder and head designer of R&R at fashion events. R&R is sponsoring this event. This is quite a coup for the respect-starved Paris Hilton. Of course, it’s no halfway house – that takes far too much time, $$, and commitment -- but it sure gets her in front of those cameras. When she begins to give serious time and $$ to worthy causes, the rest of the world will begin to take her more seriously. (AMFAR fund raisers/benefits are held periodically throughout the year.)

"If someone dislikes or disrespects someone, it does not make them a "negotard"..."

I agree Genna. To dislike or disrespect her is one thing and I can understand how some of her behavior in the past has earned her that dubious distinction. My point is some people hate her simply out of jealousy. That bothers me. How do you hate someone you don't know? I don't know, hate is a pretty strong emotion and some people do go so far as to wish her dead. That's wrong, in my opinion.

and MAY #75:
I'm not a publicist, May.
I'd like to see Paris accomplish the goals that she set for herself upon her release from prison. I do hope that we see a surge of maturity in Paris and that she follows through with her apparent plans to to "give" more to society. We're seeing some of this already. It's not going to happen overnight, May. She's a young woman who happens to be immature, but I am confident that we will see a gradual change as time goes by.

72. Hi Valerie...

Good post. Many people, such as myself, do not "hate" Paris, but there is still a great deal of disrespect for this individual, as well as a general lack of trust is what she says and does. This feeling among the general public was only further inflamed as a result of her recent and well-publicized appearance on the Larry King show, which was an unmitigated disaster. The American public, by and large, is a tough audience...one of their requirements for anyone who places herself in Hilton’s position: Be who you say you are. And Ms. Hilton has a very long way to go to before she comes close to achieving that objective.

Good points, all of them, Genna.
The King interview could have been the public turning point for Paris; however, the Bible incident and the notorious drug denial did her in. I do wonder where her advisors were that evening, or her Mum, for heaven's sake. If this were me, I would have advised my daughter to, above all, keep the interview honest or decline the interview. There are no shades of honesty: you either are or you are not and, sadly, Paris has not always been honest. I would much rather hear out of anyone's lips "I don't want to answer that question" than hear a lie. Again, she's young and with correct guidance, she could turn this whole thing around. I feel there's a genuine sweetness about her, a quality that may be her saving grace.
