Ex Mgr to Brit: Keep Me Outta Yo Mess!

With K-Fed's lawyers looking to nail Brit's former manager with a subpoena, Larry Rudolph says he'd rather stay in hiding than be forced to drop the dime on Britney in court.

In a statement to ThatOtherBlog.com, Rudolph said: "Despite the things that Britney has publicly said about our relationship in the past, I truly understand where she's coming from and why she's said the things she said about me post-rehab and I don't take it personally. As her former manager, I know and understand Britney better than anyone, I know what makes her tick and I understand everything she's going through. With that being said, my loyalty will always stay strong with Britney. I have consulted with my lawyers and I do understand that eventually the time will come when they will find me, but until then, I'm trying to avoid being brought into this mess. She's going through so much right now and I wish Britney the best."

61. Actually, the heading of this item should read "Brit's Ex Mgr to K-Fed: Keep Me Outta Yo Mess."

Remember, it's K-Fed who agreed to a 50/50 custody agreement and, less than a month later, backed out of the arrangement and directed his low-life attorney to subpoena everybody in Brit's life, both present and past - and to do so in the most invasive, public and embarassing way possible. (That's right, Kevin - they may just be "the little people" to you, but these are actually real people you're subpoenaing, with their own lives and their own interests.)

Larry Rudolph is the perfect case in point. What celebrity will want to hire him if they know he'll tell their secrets? And let's face it -- we all have them! But Larry Rudolph's reputation and livelihood is of no concern to K-Fed or his so-called attorney.

So if you're within 1,000 miles of K-Fed when he's going for Brit's money, you'd better run -- with ethics-challenged TMZ in hot pursuit, of course!

Isn't anyone ever going to think about the effect K-Fed's publicity stunts will ultimately have on these children?

63. Larry, you are a stand-up guy. I respect what you are doing. Britney: this man is worthy of your trust.
Avoid away, Larry

64. Larry R know's he isn't the only one, or even the BEST one to give testimony regarding the welfare of Brit's kids and I know from first hand experience that K-Fed's attorney taking all these depositions is nothing more than a ploy to run up his (well, Brit's) legal bills. At the end of the day, the judge and DCFS will hear from a few very close friends and family and the rest is just a family law attorney taking advantage of the situation, and the family already in shambles. Shame on them.

What Larry know is that the benefit to his career and business by staying loyal to Brit is serious business and nothing he say's is going to impact the well being of those kids, so place the responsibility where it lays. Kevin and Brittney created bad karma for themselves by the way they got together and I just hope their children don't have to suffer for it, but at the end of the day, I know that a parents greatest suffering (normal ones, anyway) is the pain of their child(ren).

It will be seriously interesting to see which of K-Fed's children grow up into psychologically healthy adults.

66. WHY DON'T YOU ALL LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE - WHAT A SHAME THAT NOBODY HAS ANYTHING BETTER TO DO THAN CRITIQUE HER - WHY DON'T YOU ALL LOOK IN YOUR OWN BACK YARDS... I MEAN FOR GO-S SAKES SHE CAN'T EVEN TAKE HER CHILD TO THE BATHROOM OR ORDER MCDONALDS WITHOUT SOMEONE FLASHING HER IN THE EYEBALLS AND THEN WRITING A STORY ABOUT HER - KEVIN IS A FLIPPIN USER ALWAYS HAS BEEN - WHY DOESN'T HE BRUSH HIS TEETH A GET A JOB - HE TRIED TO RUIN HER AND HE WILL KEEP ON TRYING - AND HER MOTHER AND FATHER ARE NO-BETTER FOR ALLOWING ALL THIS TO GO DOWN THEY NEED TO BE ON THEIR DAUGHTERS SIDE. I WISH YOU THE BEST BRITNEY AND I WILL BUY ANY TYPE OF CD YOU COME OUT WITH - !! GOOD LUCK

67. Translation: Larry Rudolph is no longer managing Brit's present day to day business affairs but he is still owed commissions on past promotions and bookings that produced albums still selling and doesn't want to tell what he knows or say anything which might harm sales and risk financial loss.

69. Just a thought here, but has anyone given any thought to the maybe she might be suffering from Post-Partum Depression?? I mean aren't ALL of the signs there? I mean I know that not all of her dumb antics qualify for the diagnosis, but in the beginning, it sure did seem to me that she was perhaps having the signs. I think that after that, all the media attention just blew everything out of control with her then she just started doing things to make the headlines. I mean if you look at all of the stories just on here about her, and see how many replies they have gotten, it just proves the point - she's getting the attention she set out to get. I sincerely do hope for the childrens sake that she cleans up her act, gets some help (major INTENSE counseling), and some major parenting classes. I really think that she was pushed into being the "little star - aka "the money maker" for her family at a very young age. They didn't care what it was going to do to her in the future as long as she could make the money that could buy them their big new houses, nice cars, clothes, jewelry, eating out in the nicest restaurants & staying in the best hotels whenever they wanted, or whatever else they wanted. But now, where are they?? I watched her show on Mtv with her & Kevin and her brother sure was there all in the spotlight all the time telling her how fat she looked so she wouldn't eat, telling her how to dress, etc., but where is he now?? I haven't seen nor heard anything from him through all of this stuff since her and Kevin split up. Makes you go hmmmm...

70. GIVE ME A BREAK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you guys telling me that you think the kids in your neighborhood are raised any better? This kind of parenting goes on EVERYWHERE, just not in the media. There are FAR WORSE situations right in your back yard but I guess if we don't know about it ...it doesn't matter? Why don't some of you critics go and become a big brother or a big sister to some of the kids in your community that do NOT have it as good as her kids. I really can not believe that people think her parenting is so horrific.

I suspect that the worst critics are those that are also human and have done things to put their children in danger...although not intentionally.

I also would guess that some of you critics are children of parental abuse and are trying to, right your situation, by seeing someone punished for doing what was done to you. That IMO does NOT make her fair game, other than her professional choice.

As to her ex-mgr. GOOD FOR YOU !!! Someone needs to show her some compassion. I neither like nor dislike Brittney, I just happen to have empathy and compassion. No, her children have not witnessed anything that a 100 million other kids have witnessed.

Just you and about 1000 other posters here. Where have you been?

72. what a bunch of self righteous, judgment group you guys are....most anyway.

If just a few of the kids in our country had so much love and attention, we'd be a much better country for it.

I just wonder how many of you have kids and I bet those that do have kids, are much more realistic in their expectations of other mothers and fathers.

73. Susan, nice lecture.

To be truthful, the parents in my neighborhood brush their kids teeth, and do not keep then up at night past ten at restruants.

The mothers in my neighborhood have not had a stint in rehab, have not shaved their heads, and do not wipe their KFC greased up hands on other peoples clothes, nor do they let their dogs crap on other peoples clothes.

The mothers in my neighborhood are not walzing into hotels at 4am with dialated pupils with a different man every week.

The mothers in my neighborhood also do not strip down to their underwear in broad daylight in front of cameras and go for a "swim" in a public setting.

You may want to thing about living in a different neighborhood if these sorts of things are a regular occurance in yours. I feel sorry for you.

74. well johnny my friend you do live a priviliged life, don't you?

I live in La Costa, Ca, so I hardly think I need to move but that is NOT the point. The point is that I feel people are judgeing her by their own personal expectaions and that, johnny, is not ok, imo.

I am just sharing my personal opinion, just like you are, however, I seem to have seen a bit more of the world than you and that is neither good nor bad.....just a reality. I have worked with these kids and it has caused me feel so very ....for that I am very graterful.

Again, johnny ....just be thankful. Don't judge others based on your personal experiences.....also, JMO

75. >>>72. well johnny my friend you do live a priviliged life, don't you?

So Susan, are you saying that anyone who DOES NOT do the things I listed Britney has done must be "privileged"?

What a sad outlook on motherhood you have.

P.S. I certainly am not as "privileged" as Britney Spears.
