Ex Mgr to Brit: Keep Me Outta Yo Mess!

With K-Fed's lawyers looking to nail Brit's former manager with a subpoena, Larry Rudolph says he'd rather stay in hiding than be forced to drop the dime on Britney in court.

In a statement to ThatOtherBlog.com, Rudolph said: "Despite the things that Britney has publicly said about our relationship in the past, I truly understand where she's coming from and why she's said the things she said about me post-rehab and I don't take it personally. As her former manager, I know and understand Britney better than anyone, I know what makes her tick and I understand everything she's going through. With that being said, my loyalty will always stay strong with Britney. I have consulted with my lawyers and I do understand that eventually the time will come when they will find me, but until then, I'm trying to avoid being brought into this mess. She's going through so much right now and I wish Britney the best."

76. BTW johnny,

how do you possibly know how the kids in your neighborhood are treated? Don't you know that most abuse goes on BEHIND closed doors? Do you do bed check or go around checking the kids teeth at night? Those were the stupidest comments that you made, since you don't have a clue what time they go to bed.

How do you know that the people in your neighborhood haven't been to rehab? It isn't something most people go around sharing with the neighbors.

johnny, you are a just too naive.

77. P.S. I certainly am not as "privileged" as Britney Spears

And your point is????

78. Susan, you've said enough. You've already stated that you wish every kid was "mothered" like Britney Spears.

You've made your insidious and ignorant bed, now run along and go lie in it.

I just thank my lucky stars that YOUR definition of a good mother isn't the norm that you seem to be shoving down our throats.

Toodles, weirdo.

79. johnny,

ok, my LAST comment to you. I feel that you totally misinterpreted my comments, as I never stated what my definition of a good mother was. I was only trying to point out that she is not any worse than many, many parents in our country. period.

I bet that even your mom, at times, was glad a camera wasn't around. Go ahead, ask her, so she can show you that she too, is a human being.

I just feel that you judge others based on your reality and I don't think that is realistic, although I suspect it does give you a sense of entitlement and or a feeling of superiority over others that are not as fortunate as yourself.

ok, I'm finished

80. Larry is smart. He knows what's true and what's not in the situation, and his choosing to stay out of it for Britney's sake is very telling of what kind of parent she is. Larry don't want nunna that.

Great comments and I, for one, concur. Too bad, johnny from so. cal, can't see that things aren't always as they seems.

I suspect that you are a great mom and my first clue was that you are able to look at yourself objectively and admit that you too, were not perfect. Your children are probably awesome, due to your realistic attitude.

82. britney was hot at one time. But ever since i read that blurb in magazine from a recent anonymous love connection she made after a night of partying, that she has crotch smell, that did it for me. Another bad thing is, I hope it is not from any one or two employees she has been rumored to be sleeping with (bodyguards). I would hate to think he is being paid on both ends. Not fair to Britney, in spite of my not caring for her.

83. the girl is clearly lost, whether it be the experiences she has been going through, chemical imbalance, or what not, but it doesn't make her a bad parent. she has done a lot of things that make you think wtf, or you have to be crazy, but the kids are obviously well cared for. every mistake she has ever made has been caught, so at least we know of what, if anything, she has ever done wrong, unlike all of us her, including kfed. as for what you read, don't believe the hype - it's all about money in the end, all they are is paid 'sources' - very easy to do...

i just think kfed is being completely hypocritical - if you are going to call this woman out for everything little thing she has done, how come no one said anything when she was always home w/the kids while he was in vegas? this is prob. the most time he has spent with them in this 50/50 split - or him taking this One Tree Hill job if it 'didn't affect his time with his kids', but yet where was he last Friday? or the fact he hasn't spoken to her in over 3 months, even concerning issues of their children, yet he is questioning her parenting? they may seem small potatoes, but it all adds up.

i don't blame her former manager for hiding, he has been with her for a lot time and has been through it all with her and he knows the legal system. all they have to do is ask a few questions that could be easily defended or explainable to make a situation look bad, it's not like what you see on law & order. he is being loyal to her b/c someone, for once, still gives a damn about this girl, i hope they don't even find him in time to serve him ...

i've said this before, and i can't help to say it again, but just as people are passionate about wanting to take the kids away from her w/out knowing what really goes on, i'm passionate about the abuse of the system in accusing people of things and having their kids taken away based on tabloids and opinions. i wish her well...

84. Frankly I am not a fan of Britney, her music never appealed to me, but Simply put leave her alone. She is a child with children and those children will want for nothing. Miss Spears has nanny's and those kids are well taken care of. Go to Disneyworld and see how many kids are up after midnight. Go to your local mall and see what people put in their babies bottles, you'd be suprised..... But I do not see any paparazzi following them and putting them in the spotlight or on the cover of a magazine. As a mother myself I can quite honestly say I have been drunk, I have had some wild parties and so what my kids are fine, they have been left with babysitters etc...etc...etc...Leave Britney alone and let her have some privacy. Being famous does have its price when a photographer will go to any length to get the best picture for a paycheck. Princess Diana is dead because of this.. Madeleine McCanns parents felt it was okay to leave there 2 yr old twins and three year old daughter alone while they drank wine and had dinner at a local bar. One of their children disapeared and no-one has done a thing about it. If this was a normal blue collar family the other two children would of been put in foster care. I think that people in general should leave Britney alone and focus on what is really important and take a look at themselves before they criticize...For all we know she is probably a great mom, and knows better than to leave her kids alone while she drinks in a bar....

86. K-Fed looks like a gangster. Or he wants to look like one. Some of you may not care for Brit, but, I don't think she hurts these kids. She may not be the worlds best Mom but she has help. Alot of you like to call her trailer trash, well I have known some like, good people that live in a trailer, and they were not trash. She could have a disorder that she can't help, and going thought a divorce is hard even thought she ended it. Her Mother should have been with her all the way. I stick by mine even if I don't care for what they are doing. If she would have stayed she could have helped her, but she changed sides, and that is not fair for Brit or the kids.

88. #84. The parents of Madeleine McCann were downright negligent when they left their children, and they should be investigated for child neglect if/when they return to the UK. If it was a single mother on benefits who'd done it then they would have been slaughtered by the press. But because they are "professionals" they have not received this treatment (yet, the British media always turn in the end) it's just a shame that they don't seem to have much common sense.

As for Britney, I feel sorry for her I believe that she suffers from some sort of mental illness, her symptoms can cover a wide range of things as people have already discussed. And yes K-Fed may only be after her money, but he may care about his children, (he must on some level) I think that K-Fed or her parents or another RESPONSIBLE person should get full custody of the children for a limited period, say 2 months to enable Britney to get the help she needs and then the situation could be reassessed from that point. I'd guess that the US Social Work services are similar to the UK, the emphasis of keeping the family together rather then taking the children into care/ for adoption on a permanent basis without all other options being fully considered and explored

90. Today was the first day of school for my child and while waiting for our ride, I saw a woman riding in the passenger seat of an SUV with an infant in her lap. I was horrified as it was at a busy intersection where I hear/see 2-3 accidents per month. Although I don't frequently wait for rides anymore, living in CA I see people in certian neighborhoods riding with babies in their lap and with children without seat belts. Maybe I should start photographing them and see what happens.

Aside from the improper car seat issues, NOTHING that brittney has done that has been reported publicly are things that would cause her to lose custody, wether we like it or not. In California, you DON'T loose custody for multiple "boyfriends" or heavy drinking and partying unless you are leaving the children un attended in order to do so.
