Tiger Hunted in Manhattan

A wild autograph seeker was on the hunt for Tiger Woods last night in NYC.

TMZ was outside of Butter, where Tiger and his super-hot wife made a police-escorted dash to their SUV. The ink seeker yelled, "Tiger, you can't sign? Help out the brother man," as Woods ran right past him.

The autograph hound then followed the SUV about 40 blocks to Trump World Tower and again started screaming for Tiger to sign. Tiger finally ditched him.

16. Wow, the worst thing they could drug up about Tiger was this, compared to other ATHLETES this is a breath of fresh air. That man would have walked away and went straight to ebay, THAT GUY IS ONE OF THOSE PRO AUTO HOUNDS that sells them on Ebay.

It's not Tiger's place to make him any money just because he's a "brtha" and I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT GUY IS OUT BUYING NIKE GOLF BALLS, TITLEIST GOLF CLUBS, OR THAT HE DRIVES A BUICK thus patronizing where Tiger's money comes from.

17. I've met Tiger twice, both in golf settings. He was nice both times and signed autographs for me and my brother. The first time we were kids. The second time we were not. Tiger wants to be left alone with his family sometimes too. If you need autographs that bad, buy a ticket to a golf event!

18. Woods has not signed anything since he first started. One of my friends was telling me that they were having this fundraiser to help kids and all of the golf stars were signing a golf ball for the auction, except for Tiger. Finally there was one person a kid that had an autograph ball signed by tiger and he donated it to the auction. I guess Chevy Chase won the auction and Chevy gave the ball back to the kid.

19. I'm not saying this guy isn't a stalker and I'm not saying he is. I think Tiger should have signed the autograph for him, what would it have hurt?? It would have only taken two seconds! Where would all these celebrities be without their fans?? And whose to say this guy was some bum off the street? Obviously he isn't or he wouldn't have had the means to follow him! It's so sad that people automatically assume that fans only want autographs so they can turn around and sell them. Has anyone seen how little money you get for autographs on ebay?? MAYBE $10 at the most!

20. The reason he wanted the autograph was for MONEY. People do not seek autographs because they love the celeb. The celeb has every right to refuse. It is for MONEY. The guy wants a autograph to sell, in exchange for nothing.

21. An idea. If you want an autograph, figure out something you can do for the celeb in exchange. Autographs are for SALE. MONEY. People want to get something for nothing.

22. Tiger does not distance himself from blacks. He distances himself from people. I am black. I know that he has black friends. Just because you are black does not give you the right to seek an autograph in exchange for nothing.

23. A man wants to have dinner without being harassed. When you go to dinner, you don't want to be bothered. When he is on the golf course or other places, he gives autographs. I have seen him do it for people of all colors, blacks and Asians of which he is both. The restaurant is the wrong place. Blacks need to treat him the way Asians treat him. Respect.

24. Another attempt by Harveystein to portray a person of color in a negative light. And of course the sheet wearers took the bait because after all..they are concerned that a stalker gets a autograph from Tiger who must stop his day to give a signature to whomever ask. You people are so typical...and so is Harveystein.

25. The guy even states "help a brother out" meaning "sign this autograph so I can get some money from it". He quite obviously stalked Tiger, chasing him all over town. To me, thats frightening. That guy was NOT a fan.

26. Princess - you should check your facts, maybe other celebs are pulling $10 but the highest right now for an autographed tiger piece is $1750 and that's for a VERIFIED (coa) autographs & lots of autys on ebay are fakes, those are the ones that go for cheap and EVEN the cheapest is $36.

Secondly, TIGER WINS HIS MONEY, by himself, not with the help of his TEAM or from fans buying his CD's, he gets out there and WINS for his cash and the FANS that support his sponsor money ARE NOT HANGING OUT IN THE STREETS looking homely & poverty stricken TRUST THAT.

27. Sure the guy was a little wacked for chasing him down, but it would not have killed Tiger to sign a god damn autograph! Fans are the people who keep these bastards rich!

28. Is this an example of "Upity"? side comment: was this the ONLY person waiting for an autograph? HaHa if it was.....how sad that there is only ONE person waiting for you.

29. Jeezz...Guys...I know plenty of athletes who don't sign autographs when they are out with their wives and children. They just want THAT time to be with their families. I have met Tiger on a couple of occasions, and he was very polite (although distant). Give the guy a break. #5 that's LOW of you to pick on an innocent child. I'm sure you are the BEST LOOKING person on the planet. ASS!

30. really I understand being out with your family..but he could have taken two seconds to sign, and tell him to go away...hes acting so stuck up..then again, maybe he doesnt want to be hounded like paris or something who couldnt survive without a camera or screaming fan for her signature...he should have been greatful honestly, I dont know many people who chase him down for an autograph..
