Bam: Vito's the New Kobe

It's hard to be taken seriously when you've got a tattoo of two animals humping on your leg, but former "Jackass" star Bam Margera tried anyway.


TMZ caught the bad boy skateboarder outside of Koi last night, where he had a cute little dinner date with legend Tony Hawk. Bam tore into lawyers going after his uncle, Don Vito, who is accused of fondling three girls between the ages of 13 and 15, during an appearance at a Colorado mall last year. "These small town lawyers, they want to get their names in the paper .... It's like the Kobe Bryant thing," Bam said. The daredevil added, "But it's done now, so cheers to Vito."

What Bam didn't realize is that Don's drama is far from over. Yesterday, Vito was released on bail yesterday after forking over $50 grand, but he's definitely not in the clear. He'll be back in court on October 22, when the trial is scheduled to resume.

16. While I realize Bam meant to compare the actions of Vito's Prosecutor to that of Bryant's Prosecutor, let's not forget that Bryant's accuser was an adult and Vito's accusers are children. NO COMPARISON...adultery to child molestation? The Prosecutor owes it to the kids to fully investigate and, if warranted, prosecute to the full extent of the law. If the Prosecutor get famous by putting a child molester behind bars, then he earned his time in the spotlight!

17. I'm not a Vito fan by any stretch of the imagination, but one of the "fondlings" was Vito putting a sticker on a girl's fully covered breast and thigh ...not even touching them. Stupid? Yes! However, it doesn't make him a child predator. Those girls were told to leave, because they were taking too much time in the line. Why would they stick around if they were being molested, especially in public where help was all around? The court transcripts can be found online, so it's not simply my opinion.

And um... Lakewood, being a "burb" of Denver is not a small town.

21. 1st- like previously stated u can read the case online so get the facts.
2nd- as a friend of bam he is absolutely right about it being a get rich scheme.
3rd- I agree that if u r a child molestor u should have to serve ur time, and its a sick act.
4th-in bams defense, this is his uncle and if it would be my uncle I would defend him as well, considering they r the ones who really know what happen
5th- bam is a great guy with the sweetest family, granted vito is abnormal but that what makes him vito. Bam has such a great talent and I have never befriended someone before that has accomplished so much in such little time and yet remains true to himself and hasn't let fame and money take over him. Bam is the man at networking in order to develop new projects and accomplishments.
