Drama at Paris' Pad

There has been something of a snag in the sale of Paris Hilton's Hollywood Hills pad.
Paris' house
TMZ has learned the house did not appraise for the sale price. Although there are reports it went into escrow for $4.2 mil, Paris' realtor, Mauricio Umansky from the firm Hilton & Hyland, tells us the purchase price is just under that amount.

Umansky, Paris' uncle, acknowledged the highest appraisal the buyer got was $3.6 million. Here's where it gets kind of interesting: Umansky says the purchase price includes furniture and chandeliers totaling between $600,000 and $700,000. He said one chandelier is made by Baccarat -- and only 12 were made. That piece alone is worth 40K.

Umansky says the buyers, a married couple from Texas, will pay the agreed-upon purchase price. He says they're paying mostly cash -- the loan is for $1 million. As a result, Umansky says the appraisal doesn't really mean squat. Umansky tells us the couple will get the keys next week.

46. Paris was NOT disinherited. That was just a stupid tabloid fabrication, like most of the stories about Paris Hilton.

She also has her GED. Not that it matters, since she clearly pulls in more money than the haters who post from some basement . Geez....some people.

47. I hope Umansky at least has the decency to have that house fumigated before he hands the keys over. You don't kno how much DNA is everywhere, Those supposed STD's that
Paris Hilton has.

If the buyers don't have a problem paying more than the house was appraised for than why in the world are you all so bothered. Everyone given a chance makes money and this
is the way it is in California. People sometimes pay more than the asking price and this
house comes furnished, though I would advise this couple to sterilize everything.

dear Paris, all those haters writing notes on your behalf really bug me. i'm sure you ignore them. you are not those things they accuse you of. they must have sad lives, poor self-esteem and never thought of being kind to someone they didn't know. you on the other half, will always be an ethereal work of art gracing us with your presence. i mean it. luv u, Marianne

# 50 Jen, It may surprise you that most bloggers/chatters are from good homes, hard working family's who live pretty peaceful legal lives.
Your assuming because people are posting they are a certain kind of person ( except for you of course) and because Paris has money she is a certain kind of person. It's a topsy turvy world isn't it? Or your extreamly narrow minded.

54. Diane; Sounds like you are the one that should leave the USA. you could not afford to buy the door key of any of her homes. Also JoeS where do you get that we are all tired of her skanky ass bet that it is a lot better than yours. Her ass is not to worthless. I bet that you could not afford to buy the front door to her house.

57. Richard Hill - Comment #61

This may come as a surprise to you, but there are those of us who can afford to buy the front door -- many, many times over. Many people actually use their wealth to help others, and support worthy causes without expecting anything in return. I can't help but laugh over this "jealousy" thing regarding Hilton's money. Nothing could be further from the truth. Pictures of Hilton were everywhere in this house; I'm assuming she had some of them removed prior to showing the home. Narcissism doesn't sell, and can be a major turnoff to potential buyers.
