Hogan's Injured Buddy Just Back From Iraq

John Graziano, Nick HoganThe Nick Hogan car crash gravely injured a US Marine who served two tours of duty in Iraq, returning just last October.

The St. Petersburg Times reported today that John Graziano, Nick's friend and passenger, joined the corps after graduating in 2003, serving twice in Iraq. The marine is still in "very serious condition," and his health status "hasn't changed since he arrived" at the hospital early Sunday morning. One of the men who found Graziano at the scene was the brother of one of Graziano's best friends.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ -- God forbid -- worst case scenario, Nick Hogan could face charges of gross vehicular manslaughter, if there's proof that alcohol, excessive speeding or drag racing were involved. The maximum sentence is 15 years in prison.

Witnesses told the Times that they saw Hogan's Toyota racing a Dodge Viper just before the crash.

211. I wonder why Nick doesn't come forward and tell the public what really happened?

Answer: I'll take, what is my attorney told me to keep my mouth shut and don't speak to anybody for $2 million Alec.

In other words, I know I did wrong, but I don't want to get in any trouble for it and I don't want Daddy to get sued.

212. Puleez, get off of your high horses concerning the e-mails full of anger. I am also angry that this 17 year old punk will more than likely get off on this mess. I feel for the Bollea/Hogans to a certain extent....but they raised the little punk and I hope they are proud of themselves. He has never apparently had any limits put on his short life and no consequences for his actions. So yeah I am pissed too. But for the grace of God he could have killed other innocent people. And yeah the parents are responsible whether you want to hear it or not. They let him get his license....they give him a car.....they let him keep on driving with all the excessive speeding tickets.....I don't care what his dad did for a living. He is still responsible for this little creeps actions but letting him go as far as he did. Yes, we the public do have the right to be angry and stop with this holier than thou crap. I feel sorry for the family of the passenger.....the Hogans let their punk son still get on the roads and it was inevitable this was going to happen. Maybe after he gets off and he will, and when he kills someone you will get it. We do have the right to be angry. I am fed up with the off spring of the rich and famous getting off while the rest of us pay the price.

213. #180 ----- Polly Anna --- take off your rose colored glasses.

It is a well know fact that Nick has a passion for fast cars. When Nick made the CHOICE to drag race, it was no longer an accident. Moreover, Nick has shown the world that after only one year of receivinging his drivers license, he has proven to have neither the driving skill or the maturity to be driving such a powerful vehicle.

Nick -- John making the choice to get in the car with you was the real accident. You had a reponsibility to the passenger in your car and the the people you were sharing the road with and you blew it.

Like the lottery, everytime Nick got behind the wheel of a car, he increased his chances that something tlike this was bound to happen. Congratulations Nick, you must be very proud of yourself. Your prize, financial devastation for you and your family. Now go out and get a real job and take responsibility for you actions.

Linda and Terry, you knew of Nicks driving habits and past tickets and did nothing about it other than buy Nick another high performance car. Like Nick, you two will have to suffer the consequences of the poor choices you have made. You are NOT Nicks friend, you are his parents -- start acting like it.

214. Should this poor young man die, it will be called VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER.
Drag racing. History of speeding, many times and only 17. Hulk on the scene. Looks bad, is bad, just what the rest of the public would be charged with. Sure, he didn't mean to do it., but he has a PENDING court case involving speeding. Famous case of young man drag racing in Florida and he hit a Mother and child in a minivan and they burned to death. The husband came to the scene and watched them die. NBC did a story on them. The husband and the young man who killed the man's family go around to schools together and tell their story. Kid did jail time. Nick deserves nothing less.

215. Does anyone find it interesting that Daddy Hogan drives a Yellow Viper, and Nick, himself, is often seen driving his Grey Viper.

I wonder if Daddy and son were horse-playing.

216. WAS THE PASSENGER WEARING A SEATBELT? IF NOT, HOW COULD NICK BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PASSENGER'S ACTIONS?

SEATBELTS SAVE LIVES!!!

217. I'm not sitting in judgment of anyone. I have raised two children. I know how foolish the young can be. However, if I got a ticket at that age, my parents would've disciplined me. I would have had to work to get a car. If an average citizen had the number of tickets as he has, their DL would've been suspended.

I can only imagine what they are going through, but Nick needs to be held accountable for his actions. Bottom line.

218. Hey Nick, don't let these people get to you. Keep your head up and stay strong for your friend and his family as well as yours. Prayers, Prayers, Prayers.

219. The marine is simply being repaid by g_d. The marine probably killed innocent civilians in Iraq - and now, g_d has punished him.

220. Is there a security tape from the resturant that Nick and his friends patronized 1/2 hour before the accident? Are there any other places along the route that would have video . Perhaps the incident can be pieced together frame by frame. It may also reveal the driver from the other car and offer any other cars involved.

224. The celebrities are above the law, they don't hesitate to tell everyone.
If the media gave them no coverage at all they wouldnt be celebrities anymore.
Cnn is starting to get the picture most of them are complaining about covering
them constantly if all news stations would do that the so called celebrities would
be begging for some kind of coverage.
Our Prayers are with John

225. Nick is a nice kid who makes very bad and stupid decissions. He needs to be charged to the fullest extent of the law and be made an example of. I am sure if he lived in Hollywood he would just get his hand slapped, but enough is enough. Its one thing for him not to respect himself or his family by driving dangerously, but he is too self centered to realize that he is putting others in harms way by the stupid decissions he is making. Then again what do you expect from a 17 year old who comes from a family of money.
