Hogan's Injured Buddy Just Back From Iraq

John Graziano, Nick HoganThe Nick Hogan car crash gravely injured a US Marine who served two tours of duty in Iraq, returning just last October.

The St. Petersburg Times reported today that John Graziano, Nick's friend and passenger, joined the corps after graduating in 2003, serving twice in Iraq. The marine is still in "very serious condition," and his health status "hasn't changed since he arrived" at the hospital early Sunday morning. One of the men who found Graziano at the scene was the brother of one of Graziano's best friends.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ -- God forbid -- worst case scenario, Nick Hogan could face charges of gross vehicular manslaughter, if there's proof that alcohol, excessive speeding or drag racing were involved. The maximum sentence is 15 years in prison.

Witnesses told the Times that they saw Hogan's Toyota racing a Dodge Viper just before the crash.

32. Hulk Hogan must have been there also. Viper and he was at the accident pronto. He should also be arrested. It will all come out. I hope there is no pay off by Hulk Hogan to make this go away.

34. Justin Berry - an accident? Are you dem? The jackass was speeding, drag racing, whatever you want to call it. This is not the first, or second time the kid is habitual. What do you mean "no one meant to hurt anyone" that's the cost of the crime. Don't be so simple. Pray for John and his family and hope the Hogin's give up some cash for medical bills and whatever it's gonna take to make sure this fine American Soldier is taken care of.

I don't feel sorry for the Hogan's.

35. I'm sorry, I forgot to wish Johns family the very best. I also want to thank John, for serving our country, not once but twice in Iraq. To bad you had such a reckless and stupid friend.

36. Marshall - Nick is not an adult. He is 17. He may not be a baby, but he is no man and certainly not an adult.

37. The "M" in Marine is always capitalized TMZ.

38. Since he is 17 he is still a minor which should mean his parents can (and should!) be sued for his stupidy. Since their pockets are deeper than his they could end up paying a very high cost indeed. If I was John's family I would have a lawyer lined up and ready to go. With 3 other citations in the last year there is no way they can claim they had no idea he would act this way.

43. Wow you guys all need to get over yourselves. You ALL act like you've never sped in a car, you only hear about Nick because his dad is famous. People die every minute in the world from a car accident but Nick is the only spoilled brat right?? If you ask me you guys are the douchbags.

44. seems like nobody's considered the idea that the passenger might be at fault as well.. obviously the ultimate blame lies on the driver, but in all these cases lately nobody seems to think that the passenger could have possibly been egging him on or encouraging the action.. especially since he's a marine that has corageously served our country, we don't want to think that he could have had anythign to do with it.

its a stupid mistake that nick will have to live with for the rest of his life.

when are people going to learn their not immune to things like this??

45. Oh yeah and if you guys read any of the articles John was described as someone who seeked adrenaline rushes, you really think that John was so innocent and was like " Nick please dont..." He was doing with Nick and its terrible that he got hurt but why is it all Nicks fault?
