Hogan's Injured Buddy Just Back From Iraq

John Graziano, Nick HoganThe Nick Hogan car crash gravely injured a US Marine who served two tours of duty in Iraq, returning just last October.

The St. Petersburg Times reported today that John Graziano, Nick's friend and passenger, joined the corps after graduating in 2003, serving twice in Iraq. The marine is still in "very serious condition," and his health status "hasn't changed since he arrived" at the hospital early Sunday morning. One of the men who found Graziano at the scene was the brother of one of Graziano's best friends.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ -- God forbid -- worst case scenario, Nick Hogan could face charges of gross vehicular manslaughter, if there's proof that alcohol, excessive speeding or drag racing were involved. The maximum sentence is 15 years in prison.

Witnesses told the Times that they saw Hogan's Toyota racing a Dodge Viper just before the crash.

92. Nick could have thrown sewage waste at the cops there and I wonder if the local DA would do a damn thing to him.
I know Florida -Rich is ABOVE the law

93. It goes to prove what an idiot the Nick is,like father like son.his parents are at fault too, because this guy is a killer in motion.
I am tired that our justice systems is hard on regular people, but soft on these celebreties that are good for nothing.
make them pay and this nick should go and serve in Irak, like his friend did or go to jail.
enough of celebries escaping justice just because of their fame.

95. #11 You must be an inmature juvenile yourself to make such a comment. The man spent 2 tours in Iraq and the only thing you can think to say is he didn't JUST get back. You're a complete moron and your e-mail address should be published so everyone can tell you exactly how they feel. Do yourself a favor and don't ever again write what you are thinking, especially in a public forum. If I could cuss the way I want to and still get my comment to you seen, I would! YOU'RE AN INCONSIDERATE IDIOT!

96. Man, you people are so vicious. You must not watch the show. Terry is a good hearted person and his kids have minds of their own. It is unfortunate that Nick has taken advantage of his situation and abused the laws of the land. However, he is not the only teenager to drive too fast nor take ridiculous risks.
It would be great if he publicly demonstrated regret and remorse if only to stem this tide of haters.
It is horrible that John was seriously injured in this one car accident. It is wonderful that it was not worse than it was (others involved, certain death, etc).
I'm not sure how people of priviledge can prevent their children from being careless, reckless, or just plain stupid. Believe me, people of priviledge do NOT have the exclusivity on that.
I feel for all involved. And I can't stand how negative and hateful people are on every board there is.
I know Terry, his family, and John's family are all greatly grieved. If you think differently, you are the stupid one.

97. I think todays society thinks up to many excuses for why accidents happen
It happened and those involved need to take responsibility for it
It's to late to prevent it
Negativity is doing no one any good
Pray for John Graziano !

98. Nick's dad has already hired a top notch attorney so they are already dishing out the $$ to get poor little Nickey out of trouble. His lisenses plate was COEHSP (capable of eluding high speed pursuit) I guess the parents thought that was as cute as all the speeding tickets. The friend riding with him had to known that Nick was a speed freak and liked to show his @ss but it's sad he is the one suffering from the brats foolishness. I hope this guy can have a FULL recovery. If Nick gets off this as easy as he did with the tickets - something is really wrong........

I agree and don't blame Terry I blame the corrupt Florida system 100% where money is above the law. I hope the hurt Marine recovers 100% and sues law enforcement in Florida for turning a blind eye to speeding, reckless drivers who have money.

100. This spoiled kid should go to jail and the parents sued. Why......because this was not his first offense. It was his third. The kid thumb his nose at the system and dad paid the bill for any extra insurance and fines to keep him driving.

Now because of his "parents" negligence someone may die!

101. THIS CERTAINLY IS A TRADGEDY, IT IS A HARD LESSON TO LEARN. I AM READING ALL OF THESE BLOGS AND I CAN NOT BELIEVE WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING. I HAVE BEEN PRAYING DAILY FOR JOHN, NICK AND BOTH FAMLIES. EVEN THOUGH JOHN IS THE ONE IN THE HOSPITAL I CAN NOT IMAGINE THE EMOTIONAL PAIN THAT NICK IS DEALING WITH. THERE ARE 2 FAMILIES SUFFERING HERE. I WILL CONTINUE MY PRAYERS FOR ALL OF THOSE INVOLVED. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU.

SINCERELY,
SANDRA

102. wuz up with kickin the kid when he's already way down?! as if NONE of you have made ANY mistakes. like the kind where you go "Whew! was as I ever lucky." the kind that almost got you to bite the big one. the kid's 17. a boy. sure, he's irresponsible, but isn't that part of a teen's job. it's the process of growing up. testing ourselves. and others, too.i'm not advocating a slap on the wrist. but i'm not advocating the kid should be tormented more than he is already. have a heart, woncha? i believe he must have learned more than one lesson by now!

as for the graziano boy, he's been through hell 2x. he doesn't need a third go at it. therefore, i prefer to believe that this event will be an sad but indelible ephiphany for hoga. for his buddy, the young soldier, i can only wish for him the renewal of life abundant.

104. ************************* PSEUDO--CELEB ****************************

IF IT WERE THIS YOUNG MAN'S FIRST OFFENSE, IT WOULD BE BAD ENOUGH............
BUT THIS GUY HAS GOTTEN TICKET AFTER TICKET AND POINTS ON HIS LICENSE FOR THE SAME BEHAVIOR. THE ONLY DIFF IS THAT THIS TIME HIS LUCK RAN OUT.

UNFORTUNATELY, IT TAKES A TRAGEDY LIKE THIS TO WAKE UP THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM.

NO FREE PASS !!!!!!!! THROW THE BOOK AT HIM, JUDGE. HE HAD HIS CHANCES. NOW IT'S TIME TO PAY UP.

IF THAT US MARINE IS GOING TO GO THROUGH A LIFETIME OF PHYSICAL IMPRISONMENT, THE LEAST LITTLE MR. BOLLEA COULD DO IS A FEW YEARS BEHIND BARS. I THINK THAT'S ONLY FAIR.
