Is she or ain't she? The much-rumored "surprise" comeback performance Britney Spears is aiming to make at next week's MTV "Video Music Awards" will be "shocking" -- but won't involve Justin Timberlake. Ding dang!

Us reports that Brit-Brit presented her opening act to MTV honchos this past Monday, and that she's "planning it to be a big comeback performance," and that her goal is to make it "shocking." (Unlike her wardrobe, parenting and coiffure choices.)

Amusingly enough, one idea that got the nix was a performance of "My Prerogative" within a medley of her old hits, while images of JT and the Fed-Ex showed on a screen behind her.

Oprah and Dave Make Nice Yet Again


Now what's the fun of this? Oprah Winfrey and David Letterman will continue their (zzzz) reconciliation this fall when Dave appears on O's big season-opening shows at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Letterman and Oprah were involved in a decade-long snit which came to an end in 2005, when Winfrey appeared on Dave's show. Their lovefest continued when they did a Super Bowl spot together. And now the circle is complete, particularly so because Letterman appears so infrequently on other people's shows. Now if only Oprah would invite Hanson -- who we're told were the most difficult guests ever on the show -- back for an encore.

Bridget to Baby Daddy Brady – Stay Clear


Bridget Moynahan might be glowing with happiness after giving birth to her baby boy, but it hasn't exactly warmed her heart to ex-boyfriend Tom Brady.

Gatecrasher reports that while Bridget allowed Brady to see the baby they conceived together, Tom "was only allowed to come after the baby was born. The woman would not see him, period." Bridget also didn't give the baby Brady's name. But if Tom thinks there's going to be any reconciliation -- or that he'll be able to see the boy whenever he wants -- "Bridget is not giving him any slack on this at all."

Party Favors: Faith Hill – the Hank Williams, Jr. of Sunday Night ... Now It's Beckham's Knee


Faith Hill is going to sing the opening theme for NBC's "Sunday Night Football," reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, as NBC tries to emulate ABC's "Monday Night Football" in every conceivable way. The new tune, "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" is a rejiggered version of Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself for Loving You." ... David Beckham injured his knee in the 30th minute of the L.A. Galaxy's game with Pachuca of Mexico, adding a sprain to his gimpy ankle.

You don't want his name but i bet you good money that you will try to take him to court and break his neck in child support. I hope he makes you give the baby his name just so you have to write it for the next 18 YEARS. You are really getting on my nerves with theory how did she finally get pregnant after not getting pregnant during early part of their relationship? Well in the beginning of most relationships people utilized protection. As people grow a little more comfortable with each other both parties tend to throw protection to wind because they obviously trust each other and feel that there is no need. So if Brigette and Tom were having problems than obviously so one should have thought hmm maybe I need to protect myself being that I don't trust/love/care so much for this person as I once did. I wouldn't want to catch disease or do anything to jeopardize my career, or end up with a child out of wedlock that I will eventually have to support. I'm sick of hearing guys saying that she was on birth control or that she said she was on birth control. If you really want to be protected regardless of what she says use a condomn and if she is on birth control then you both have protect yourself. While, Brigette can't control Tom's visitation, she can very well determine who she wants in the delivery room.

Are you Tom Brady? You seem to know all facts. A lot of the information on these sites aren't necessarily true so how does anyone really knows when Tom Brady found out. Oh the media reported it on this day? The media seems to report anything these days. Bottom line regardless if he found out when "everyone" seemed to find out or he knew all along he still flaunted his new girlfriend and didn't really offer any assistance to his pregnant ex, but now since she has had this child he is going to skip pratice and run to her aid. BS. He was probably doing what the Patriots PR person told him to do so that he wouldn't be another scandal or a smudge on the Patriots sparkling record.

95. To those saying Tom is flaunting Gisele in Bridget's face - how so? Because he has been photographed with her? Brady has always been a very private person. He doesn't do a lot of press - unless it is to answer football questions. The man could have endorsements up the wazoo (he's GORGEOUS), but he takes very few. He doesn't want the press. Yes, there are a FEW pictures of him out in public with Gisele, but they ARE dating. Is he supposed to stay holed up inside with her all the time? That hardly seems fair. He is a human being - not just the father of Bridget's baby. Just because his ex girlfriend is pregnant doesn't mean he cannot be seen in public with a new woman. Yes, I imagine it is hurtful to Bridget given the break up and then the pregnancy, especially with Gisele being a supermodel - but let's face it - Brady is entitled to a life. Just like Bridget is also entitled to a life. People break up and fall in love again all the time. The timing of it all stinks. But it happened. They have a baby and I'm sure that Tom and Bridget will do what is best for the baby they created together. They are both adults and they both loved each other at one time. Now they share a baby and hopefully they will work together and be the best parents to that little boy they can be! However, I hardly think it is fair to say Tom is flaunting Gisele in Bridget's face, because that is not the case.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that when she couldn't get him to the altar after three years and she feared losing him, Bridget resorted to the oldest trick in the book, the "accidental" pregnancy. She's had little success as an actress and she saw him as her longterm meal ticket. I don't really follow football, but from what little I know about Brady he seems to have conducted himself with some degree of dignity in the past relative to other athletes. It's just unfortunate timing for him that his ex decides to go public with her "unplanned" pregnancy just when he starts dating someone else. His only mistake was not wearing a condom, and the result is just another celebrity child pawn. Sad for the child!

98. Bridget is just saying that because he already told her he is not going to be with her just because of the baby. Does he really know if is his baby? No! Not until the pertanity test comes back. He will get it done and she has no choice unless she is planning to go to the Bahammas. He has every right to have a relationship with his son. You can't stop a damn thing and the baby will have a beautiful Step-Mother real soon. He's going to do the Eddie Murphy on your ass. Your tried to trap him with this pregancy and now he's still not interested so you don't want him to see his own child. Get over your ugly ass and think about the beautiful baby. After reading the statement you made publicly I hope you have egg on your face when the paternity test comes back. LMAO! So you just may get your wish of him not seeing the baby because you forget that you slept with someone else and it may not be his. So you come up with this CRAP!

99. Faith Hill singing about football? she was singing about her husband's balls last time she was mentioned. Why would anyone involved in Sports ask her when she is such a bad sport!!!!!! She went Ballistic when she at 40 lost to Carrie Underwood, 21, beat her out of an award. She snarled and ranted like Mike Tyson!!! She is a disgrace!!! She was a very poor choice.

100. Hey Imthebest - I'd bet the house that he had that paternity test done before the baby was even born. When it seemed like Bridget was pregnant for like 10 months, everyone around Boston started questioning paternity, then we figured they did a paternity test via an amnio. When he went out to CA for the birth, we figured he must've known it was his baby.
