46. Why is it that the idiot who causes the accident rarely gets hurt??!!!! It's always the innocent passenger or the innocent driver of the other car who gets seriously hurt or worse!!! I hope Nick Hogan gets sued for everything he and his family are worth!!!! I'll admit that I watched their show Hogan Knows Best. But obviously, Hogan doesn't know crap about raising his son to be responsible!

51. The only shame about this story, is that this street-racing, speed addicted junkie is still walking with minimal injury. Poor John and his family.. Nick needs a huge dose of quadraplegic reality. I'm just glad I don't live in Florida and have to be succombed to his horrible driving tactics.

I live here in Fl and I sure wouldn;t want to meet NIck on the road.He should have know better, his parents should have known better and John should have known better than to get in the car with a speed demon.Although Nick needs to pay for what he did, he was the one doing the driving. But you can't say John was totally innocent to climb in the car wtih him .Since they were friends for a long time he had to know how Nick drove.I think he bears a little responsbily for putting his life in the hands of someone who loves speed and been so careless before.. I am not blaming the victim here, but noone I am sure held a gun to his head and made him get in the car... Nick should get some time out of what he has done. His parents should take responiable too for not taking his car away long ago...

How quick everyone is to judge someone based on sketchy news reports at best.
Yes, the driver has been identified as Nick Hogan. Yes, this kid has gotten away with driving way too fast in the past.
However, in a time where celebukids are doing drugs and drinking, this kid was not under the influence of anything- just guilty of wreckless driving.
Not to take away the seriousness of it, but I guarantee that all of you throwing stones have received at least a ticket or two for speeding, and if not that, I can promise that each of you have done something in your past whose actions could have created a tragedy.
Quit tossing stones in glass houses!

You can bet if it was anybody else..non celeb.. oh and I use the term loosely when referring to little Hogan as a celeb..maybe F celeb....licences would be taken away unlike the likes of bratty Nick who was warned previously about his dangerous speeding so please it wasn't as if he wasn't warned prior plus his own father was bragging about his speeding. He has no sympathy from me. I hope his pal recovers and sue's his sorry little ass!!!!!
