17. Just watch. Soon she will have a clothing line to release and then start doing movies. I don't know if I'm alone in this, but I truly miss the days when a main requirement of being famous was actually having talent. This woman is famous for what? lets see... driving drunk on the wrong side of the freeway, arrested for heroin possesion, an obvious eating disorder, public fued with the other 'famous for nothing" bimbo, spending 82 minutes in jail for a crime the rest of us would be in jail for at least a month, and being the adopted daughter of Lionel Richie. Wow...if thats all it takes all celebrity spawn should pay close attention and doing the same...

19. Since Nicole is adopted (a well-known fact that seems to have escaped TMZ), it might be a little difficult for to ride "daddy Lionel's" unquestionably talented coattails. So unless daddy Lionel and his music industry colleagues have overlooked any significant talent she may have had all these years, you can almost certainly count Nicole among talent-less friend, Paris Hilton. This item is similarly flawed in its inclusion of Jessica, who was both unknown and unconnected when she got her first record deal at age 14. It's such a short item, TMZ, don't you think you could at least try to get it right?

23. Oh go away, Nicole. You have no talent and no morals and no brains and you are ugly as hell. I feel SO incredibly sorry for that poor baby, it is so sad that a piece of druggie trash like you gets pregnant simply because you and gold-digger Joel are too stupid to practice safe sex but wonderful DESERVING people who would be super parents are battling with the heartbreak of infirtility. 24. You all need to realize that some of the people talking about musical talent running in her family might not be talking about Lionel at all. Her birth father has an amazing voice , as well as her birth aunt, and her birth grandfather. Read up. Plus it doesn't hurt to have Lionel's music in the house, and she actually had a single that was MUCH better than Paris. Google it, it was called Dandelion.

25. i saw her on the view once. she's actually a classically trained pianist and cello player. she played both on this particular episode of the view. i'm sure tmz could get a copy of it and post it on their site. i don't know about her singing ability but lionel richie made sure that she got classical music training.

26. out of the 4 "bimbos of the apocalypse", Nicole seems to be the most likely to succeed (by succeed I mean not kill anyone, end up back in jail, or dead by 2010). She's also the only one to have admitted to her mistakes instead of blaming them on someone else. plus, she looks fabulous in that pic

no one can bash Nicole's singing until they've heard it, but I think that if she even had half the talent of Whitney/Mariah/Christina Aguilera, she would have put out some music by now. however, that doesn't' mean she doesn't have enough talent to put out a CD (especially nowadays where blond extensions and provocative videos trumps actual vocal talent)

27. Nicole comes from a family of great musician both on the biological and adopted side. It is also important for you all to know that she is herself a classically trained pianist and cello player as indicated by #27. I think that she lost her way with all the crazy partying.
It's greats to see her returning to her roots, it means she is back on track again.

28. Ok, first of all, I have to say that Nicole is looking SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much healthier lately. I think that becoming pregnant is one of the best things to ever happen to her. I mean she's really starting to get her act together. Second, for all you sad cynical people, although she may not have inherited anything from Lionel Ritchie, she actually can sing. She released a song called Dandelion a few years back (In 2004 or 05 if I'm not mistaken), and I have to say, she sounds good. And it didn't sound as if it were computerized, or "edited" like Paris' songs.
