Prayer Vigil for Hogan Friend

An emotional prayer vigil was held yesterday in Clearwater, Fla. for John Graziano, the 22-year-old marine who was critically injured in Nick Hogan's car crash on Sunday night.

"He is still in very critical condition, but coming out little by little. He is in the ICU and we need people to continue to pray," said Ashley Berry, Graziano's girlfriend. Also in attendance, Graziano's sister Christian, who said, "We have complete faith that he is going to recover and be completely fine." No one from the Hogan family showed up at the vigil, but Ashley said they have been by Graziano's bedside since the accident.

Local defense attorney J. Kevin Hayslett has been hired by the Hogan family. TMZ contacted him today but he refused to comment on the investigation.

46. people are humans and do stupid things that most of the time come off fine - legal or not....until an unfortunate accident occurs. Nick and his friend weren't so lucky this time. Nick certainly didnt mean for this to occur nor did his family. When and if there are repercussions I'd hope those people will take the right actions. It's not a conspiracy against other people. I'd bet there are other speeders in Clearwater that have been warned as well....this is equally as tragic as if Jon had been hurt or killed in Iraq, totally pointless and avoidable with the same result....

47. I can't understand how the Graziano family can allow Nick or any of the Hogan family in the same room as them and John! It's because of Nick's reckless behavior that their child, brother, boyfriend is in intensive care. If I were them I would be starting the legal proceedings against Hulk Hogan.

48. listend to all the jealous, fools that live in glass houses !! they never made mistakes, have any of the fools been in nicks position ??? i'm sure that they were both having the time of their lives,no one will ever know how the passanger felt, he will never remember anything about the accident, but i'm sure that the both minds were focused on the same thrill. in today's world the lawyer is a savior for the low-life people that want what you got without working for it (not saying john is like that ) you know -ax-gary ax -koby those low-lifes that fuel the legal sys, they live off the PIP insurance,10,000 $ worth of their (treatment) then go after anyone involved, i know i've been through this, and the (injured party were just leaches.poster child for pithetic ..

50. FACT is, on Monday, social services asked the family if they would donate John's organs- they refused.

He's a veg- clinically brain dead- prognosis is indefinite if he stays on a ventilator. If Hulk pays for the good care, his body could last another 20 yrs.......

Run, Nicky, run..... Hulk- get him to a non-extradition country fast.....

Flee, Nicky, Flee....

51. #3 "Not to take away the seriousness of it, but I guarantee that all of you throwing stones have received at least a ticket or two for speeding, and if not that, I can promise that each of you have done something in your past whose actions could have created a tragedy if for one momentary slip in time."

No, I've never gotten a speeding ticket. And yes, I've done stupid things that could have caused a tragedy.

1. If this had been an isolated incident, where the kid got a wild hair to speed, then he wouldn't be getting crucified in the court of public opinion. It WASN'T.

2. He was ticketed 3 times since January for speeding. And NOT for going 10 mph over the limit. He was driving in excess of 100mph in a residential area.

3. NOT ONLY did he get these priors, he bragged in an upcoming magazine article how he was stopped twice in a row for going over 100mph and was let go by the troopers because he was Nick Hogan. AND the second officer KNEW from his radio that he'd just been stopped and let go by the prior officer. It was a third officer who gave him the ticket.

This ISN'T just a stupid spur of the moment thing a 17 year old did. It's something he'd done over and over. He showed no regard for other lives or the law. In fact, THE OFFICERS who let him go only added to this. If this had been your son or mine, do you really think they'd get off even the first time? These officers knew he was Nick Hogan. Buy letting him go, they perpetuated his idea that celebrities can do what they want.

The public has become weary of this. Paris Hilton going to jail is the proof.

So, I'm sorry, #3. But I am disgusted. My 16 year old autistic son has more common sense and concern for the lives of others than this damn idiot. I have no sympathy for him, at all.

52. Sorry Shaleewa, you're wrong. I have never had a ticket and I have been driving for over 15 yrs. I also would never put someone's life at risk, whether it be accidental or intentional.

The Hogan's should be ashamed of themselves...where is their parenting?? Who lets their 17 yr old drive a Viper, or any other fast car knowing full well he is obviously extremely irresponsible. I know if my child every got the amount of tickets their son did (and it's not like he had been caught only going 10 or so miles over the speed limit in the past) they wouldn't be allowed to drive...end of story. It's a miracle no one has been killed already. The Hogan's are morons.

53. I stick to my argument... Clearly, Nick is at fault, but if nothing would have happened, it would have just been another fun race that he had with his friend in the car.

"Many media sources have described both Nick and John as great friends, but also adrenaline junkies to an extent".

Here is the article:

It sucks that the kid got hurt and I hope that he gets better soon... but they were friends because they are just alike. It could just have easily been John who was driving. Drag racing on anything other the a racetrack, its a stupid thing to do.

55. >>Oh yeah, and you all are just making yourself sound jeolous of his and his families wealth and stupid by your retarded hating comments! Grow Up! You guys can only dream of having his cars, opportunities and wealth! That's all there is to it...

56. Oops - I quoted, but what I actually SAID isn't there.

I am not sure why anyone would want what Nick Hogan has. He has squandered opportunities, hopefully he hasn't killed his friend, and I like my inexpensive car just fine - it's new and drives well!

I wouldn't swap places with him for anything. There isn't anything to be jealous of. He's a bratty kid, who doesn't think of others. I think 17 is too young to have a license, I would prefer seeing the drivers age be made 18.

57. All the comments about how Nick is only 17 he's a minor. he made a mistake, is all true, But in the real world. people make mistakes all day long. Want to know what the difference is. between Rich n Poor making MISTAKES as you Nick lovers seem to want to call what he does.
WE HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for what we do. We dont have the Police in our pockets to keep letting us commit the same mistakes over and over again. Our kids at 17 make mistakes they have to pay up like an adult. even if it means JAIL time. We dont have money to obtain HIGH PRICE lawyers to get us off. We dont get free passes. If we were to SPEED (RACE) and a person in out car gets hurt. WERE looking at few years for INDANGERMENT.RECKLESS DRIVING. and Poss. vehicular Manslaughter. With the record NICK has.
We all knows if the tables were turn and the average joe did this to HULKS son. The story would be so much different. WOULDNT IT HOGAN FAMILY N FRIENDS.

58. what happened the nite of his accident was clearly 100% nicks fault. everyone on here are hating. yes, the rich and famous do most of the time get treated alot better then the average person with the legal system. and it sucks. but if i or any of u that are bitching about it so much did something with our lives to make us rich and famous we would be all for the way that they are treated. just as long as we were one that was treated "special". so stop hating on the Hogan family cuz your all just jealous.

59. PLEASE Clearwater PD and local Judiciary...take this careless, selfish boy's license away until he grows up...he didn't quite kill someone this time.... please don't give him another chance. Why should a young man be lying suffering in a hospital bed right now just so Nick Hogan can get his kicks speeding??? He's a spoiled rotten rich kid who hasn't yet learned how to be responsible...I'm not saying he won't change in the future...his family seems to be good and caring people...but Nick needs to be kept off the road for quite some time...maybe then he'll learn about respect for others vs. privilige and his sense of entitlement.
