Bobby Brown to Judge: Let Me See My Kid

With his head down and a mopey look on his face, Bobby Brown walked into a packed Orange County Superior Court just moments ago -- to fight Whitney Houston for partial custody of their 14-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kris.

Brown, who rocked a sharp, pinstriped suit with a stylish purple tie, is hoping to overturn a default judgment that ended his marriage to Whitney and gave her sole custody of their daughter.

When asked about what he expected to get out of today's hearing, Brown simply responded, "No comment."

Inside the courtroom, the judge set up the ultimate showdown -- when she ordered both Bobby and Whitney into court to see who's the more credible parent -- in person. But a short time later the plans may have changed, when the judge considered Houston's request to videotape her deposition and send it in instead. Whitney's lawyers argued that the former diva is in the middle of hammering out a new record deal in Atlanta ... and can't be bothered.

As Bobby made his way out of court, he told TMZ, "I can't wait for this to be over." The next court date has been set for Oct. 22.

34. If he was goob enuff to help father the child, then he's good enuff to be in the child's life. Although I love Whitney as an artist, she herself hasn't had a clean and perfect road, where she can now decide that Bobby all of a sudden is not good enough.
I'm sure he'll never hurt his child, he was there for 14 yrs or how ever old she is. I have 2 children whom love and adore thier father. He's a ridiculous husband, yet he's a pretty good dad. Just because I can't establish a prductive relationship with him, I'd never, ever take my kid's relationship from them. Their happiness means more than mine in that and any other situation.

All Bobbi Chritina know as a father is her father. He is what he alway's was. Whitney didn't have a problem with him then, then whatever problem she has now shouldn't affect her child's well-being.
Furthermore, although I am a woman, mother I take great disgust with women who use their children as object's in a game. Women should not have that much power over a situation like this, unless the concern's are warranted.

GOOD LUCK BOBBY AND BOBBI, YOU MAY BE SOME TERRIBLE THINGS, AS WE ALL, BUT U DESERVE TO BE IN UR CHILD'S LIFE!!!

35. Whitney - you don't want to come to a hearing that is going to possibly decide about the welfare of your child because you're in the middle of hammering out a record deal? I wonder if I can use that excuse the next time I'm selected for jury duty. Put your kid first.

36. Why didn't Whitney show up--could be cause she is so wasted they would have to order the kid taken away from her.

38. What comes to mind when I read how Mr. Brown is trying to see the child he did drugs in front of, abused her mother in front, is why would this child want to go near him. What about his other children? Does Mr.Brown's herd of other children from the variety of women. Does he ever see them? Would he fight to see them if "their mother" was rich? I have very strong doubts, very strong doubts.

39. #36 and 37 I knew you were a man talking all that yeng yang. Its a wonder Whitney has any sense left dealing with that manipulative crack head and his whole entire family. I can only imagine what she had to deal with. Now that she has left his sorry ass, she can get on with her life and the business of raising her daughter with dignity and respect . Like I read somewhere if he would go to rehab and take it seriously , he should be allowed supervised visitation. Whitney has been to rehab and is back recording. She has tried this when she was with him, but he was so jealous and wanted the spotlight on him , that he just pulled her back down. Now she has finally start thinking about herslf and stop trying to please that man she will come back strong and raise a beautiful strong lady, like herself.

40. I believe that Bobbi Kristina should be allowed to voice her opinion about how much time she' d like to spend with each parent because she is old enough.

42. Why is he so worked up about seeing this one kid in particular, doesn't he have like fifteen others that he never sees? Oh......wait.........I get it, if he can get at least partial custody, maybe he can get child support, so he doesn't have to keep living out of his crack dealer's car. Parents who try using their kids like this are sleeze-bags!
