Cops: Hogan Wreck Victim's Dad Got Violent in Hospital

Edward GrazianoThe father of the critically injured passenger in Nick Hogan's horrific car wreck, was arrested on Friday -- one day after he allegedly turned violent in the hospital's ICU ward.

St. Petersberg police were called to Bayfront Medical Center Thursday afternoon after Edward Graziano's wife told them that he got physical during an argument with other members of the family.

After Edward left the hospital, Debra Graziano, Edward's wife, renewed a domestic violence injunction against him, stemming from a June 21 arrest in which Edward was charged with domestic battery, battery on a law enforcement officer, and tampering with a witness.

Cops say Edward returned to the hospital on Friday afternoon, violating the new injunction, and was arrested a few hours later at the Vinoy Hotel in downtown St. Petersburg. He was taken to the Pinellas County Jail where he still remains behind bars..

46. Are you people even reading the article? She didnt call the police because he came to hospital. The police were called because he started a fight. He is a habitual abuser and if he cant keep his hands to himself or control himself when his son should be the priority then he deserves to be in jail. I just feel bad for the young man because when everyone should be banding together for his well being his father comes and and causes un-needed drama and violence. Poor boy. I do hope he gets better.

48. I think you all need to get a life of your own. Nick was just being a teenager. Just like we all (most of us anyway) have been. He isn't any different than most others except that his family is famous. We are all too ready to throw stones at him. I do feel for John and his family, but he was probably in the car cheering Nick along. He was old enough to know better also, but probably still too young to care. So why don't we focus our time and energy on solving some of the problems that lead up to things like this happening instead of talking trash about everyone involved. Nick probably has feelings just like our own teenagers do (and I have one of them).

49. Wow they haven't said much about this guy. Just that he's critical. I wonder if he will make it. I wish they would say. Anyway, I hope he makes a full recovery. God Bless.

50. Unless you know Nick personally you only see what is shown on TV and in the tabloids. This actually seems to be one of the nicest, closets families in "the business". They are all very close. He is a teenage boy and I see teenagers do a lot of stupid stuff all the time. What I am saying is this is an unfortunate accident. A terrible accident. Should Nic have been drin=ving slower, absolutely. Had his friend driovrn like this before. I wouldn't be suprised. Sorry his old man is a jerk. His son doesn't need him around if he is causeing pronlems. I am an RN and his type just makes for a more heightened level of emotions. Your worrying about a loved one...don't need the jerk off dad there is he can't behave.

51. yeah we all buy our kids racing cars to play on the street with us like we are orange cones, pay their tickets, and inflated insurance, bond over high speed races on the road together! This could not have happened to just any family!

52. Oh come on, how many high school dropouts do you know of that are running around in a dozen bling-bling race cars that daddy bought ,all the while having no special talent in racing or anything else for that matter ? "0" Jr is just a wannabe tryin to act like a player.Fortunately for Florida , that dream is probably dead forever... but so is the life and dreams of his passenger. I'm hopeing for financially crippling lawsuits for the Hogan family and plenty of jail time for Jr. where somebody also kicks the crap out of him.Good bye to the Hogans and that ridiculous show forever !!!

53. I am a Doctor in a trauma ICU. I can tell you there where many patients going through life or death situations. No one needs someone who has no respect for the other families who any minute could lose their love one.If you would bother to understand that father has respect for no one not even his son to even cause police to be called. I have no doubt he
deliberately violated the stay away order , he is the type of person that disregards rules. The real people who should be held responsible is Hulk Hogan and his wife for allowing their son to drive a car that is for racing and when he received his last speeding ticket (4th for him) responsible parents take away the car and consequences are applied. Well lucky for us the state will apply those for them FLORIDA does not let racers win in there courts. The Hogans will be sued and rightfully so the difference is they will have the money to pay it.

54. Just what wenrrf , another idiot (Arrest Nick, etc) blabbing bull****t clearrly not found in the story. Another pinhead that thinks a woman deserves a buffon that is too pathetic to have any control. You, too, can show your stupidity by agreeing with the idea that the wife created the situation. PLEASE, someone, show me where the wife stopped him from visiting his son. Show me where it says the wife did anything.. The argument was with family members. He's an ass that can't control his temper. Put him under the jail and the fools that agree with him.

57. well no defense but nick's friend isnt stupid they where both in the car and both going fast as they have done previously, it is a sad deal one in which a child that was raised more spoiled than need be given things that are dangerous and treating them as toys may in fact destroy the finanical security his father worked his life for. Nick isnt the only stupid kid hell look at youtube and type in racing fighting, stupid stunts and so on, he just had the result that happens to frequently now adays and it will not have a good ending either way. If anything it is an example to parents as well as childeren on limits, but kids will do as they do no matter the raising, many good kids do stupid crap, this ones parents just happened to have money and be on tv, and be able to be judged so easily. I just hope that everyone comes away alive and well and whatever happens after that is karma as far as finacial

59. Reading these comments just disgust me.

All I keep reading is how the Hogan's should get sued and Nick should get his ass kicked etc. Why is everyone so sue happy? Is money going to make these people feel better? Doubtful..

Nick knows what he did, and Im sure he feels terrible about it. All we see on t.v. shows probably doesnt show his personality all the time.

Im not defending anyone here by any means, but youve got be a real retard to not feel bad for almost killing your friend in a crash. The way everyone is talking it seems like your saying he doesnt give a rat's ass and is skipping around.

Stop wishing all this bad stuff on him and keep your prayers on his friend whos in critical condition.

I hope all works out for the families and Nick's friend fully recovers.

As for the father who got arrested..he was violent and noone should have to deal with violence during such a hard time. I think he should be able to see him but under supervision for the time being.

My prayers go out to both families.
