Larry BirkheadLarry Birkhead has told TMZ he is thinking of suing MSNBC over the Rita Cosby book, because she obtained information on the network's dime.

Birkhead says Cosby, who has since left MSNBC, befriended him in the Bahamas through his then lawyer, Debra Opri. Larry also says Opri would invite Cosby to dinners, where Cosby told him everything discussed was "off the record."

Birkhead claims the salacious allegations are lies.

A rep for MSNBC had no comment.

32. WOW tmz you really are on damage control for stern. The stories are coming out so fast I can't even keep up. Now I know why the Today Show has cancelled Rita's interview. What a bunch of wimps. I will be picking up my copy of Rita's book here shortly. Your bias opinion doesn't bother me at all. I just find it sad that you would stoop so low.

33. I have a great idea. How about all parties involved just go away. Larry should copyright Anna Nicole's Name and rights so this dimwit Rita can not publish her book. Or an even better idea, no one should be allowed to publish this, Larry should not be on a sue happy trail. Or... let the book be published (free speech) and Larry sue but make the proceeds go to the baby in a trust fund. Everyone should let Anna RIP!!

34. isn't Rita the one that was so angry when howard kicked her butt out of the funeral "after gathering" at that hotel? opri was saying that she gave Rita permission but howard
didn't want the press there- he wanted it to be private-

i used to like Rita, but now i think she had her feelings hurt at the funeral and is trying to get back at howard for embarassing her!

35. Why didn't Larry sue MSNBC already for sending his money to Debra Opri without his permission?

If Jackie Hatton saw Larry and Howard "together" then WHY wasn't this mentioned before?

If there is really a video of this sex act out there WHY hasn't it surfaced like every other video that the media came across?

43. I read on here the other day skankyRita was gonna be on OReilly tonight. Is that true? If it is he should have Rita's source on too, skanky Jackie, and hey have Lin Wood, Howard and Larry as a guest. C`mon Bill, for once show all sides. 44. Opri is in more trouble than Cosby. It appears Opri divulged privileged information to a reporter.

Cosby can always claim the 'Journalist' protection which might work in a lawsuit. Opri can't really claim anything to protect her from Professional Misconduct charges, as well as civil damages and likely disbarrment.

HKS and LB are doing America a great favor by slamming the media-whoring Attorneys and Reporters that ruin life for so many people.
