Larry BirkheadLarry Birkhead has told TMZ he is thinking of suing MSNBC over the Rita Cosby book, because she obtained information on the network's dime.

Birkhead says Cosby, who has since left MSNBC, befriended him in the Bahamas through his then lawyer, Debra Opri. Larry also says Opri would invite Cosby to dinners, where Cosby told him everything discussed was "off the record."

Birkhead claims the salacious allegations are lies.

A rep for MSNBC had no comment.

77. There are plenty of celebrity parents who keep their kids out of the media completely, celebrities who actually ACT and who are NOT RIDDLED WITH CONSPIRACY. The only reason why this baby is in the spotlight is because she's a money-maker. Shame on you, Larry! 79. I do not support Howard Stern of Larry Birkhead at all. I support freedom of the press and freedom of speech. I am gald the story is coming out, and I feel it needs to be told. If Larry wants to sue let him that is his right. As the old saying goes "Truth is the best defense to libel." Truth always wins out. In the end we will all see what the truth is. IMO

Judging without knowning the facts.(DOES THAT MEAN YOUR KIDS ARE A BUNCH OF HYPOCRITES LIKE U ) because everything we have heard is GOSSIP. Do you for one moment think the TODAY show would had cancel the interview with CROSBY if there wasnt proof that her book is based on Shady FACTS. If Crosby information is so big that it could involved the POLICE. why hasnt she taken that information to them.

85. no question about it! i think both these guys are slimey. it's just they both have different covers. howard is a lawyer, making him cunning/crafty (if not personally smart) and larry is a pretty decent looking guy, fairly suave and smooth. ..underneath these facades, i hope a conspirancy isn't unearthed...at the very least, a gay relationship might be...but i guess, even so, that's not against the law. still will be interesting to follow!

88. If she got this information from Larry off the record, then why is he claiming it isn't true? And, if it is true, then how can he sue her about it. Larry, you can't claim it's a bunch of lies and then sue the writer for obtaining the information illegally! He'll do what rich people who get caught with their pants down always do: threaten to sue in fron tof cameras, and then quietly try to let it go away. This way, they can claim innocence and then hope everyone forgets about it (and by staying out of court, there are no depositions made and no one will tell the truth). Larry and Howard, sitting in a tree. . . .

Not that I believe there is a vid to back up such slander, But I can't wait to see the attempt.

I have not read or heard one word from the author of this so called book yet, Strange not to hear from her if she got dumped by Today show and had legit info.

At the least one would defend their credibility with a statement?.
