Shaq Calls Foul on Wife -- Files for Divorce

31. This is sad. I'm not an NBA fan but, I have the impression that Shaq's a good guy. I know nothing about his wife.
From just this article it appears to me that Shaq found out something substancial regarding his wife and money or else, why would he file for divorce? That's a harsh way to react to the mrs. spending THEIR money.
However this goes, I hope for the sake of their children that they can resolve the differences by counceling or divorce without too much media involvement.
I can't imagine why Shaq is so interesting in finding her money trail.

WOW at first I thought this was a publicity stunt...sort of like trying to re-live Jordan's whole i have a gambling problem I'm getting a divorce...wait let's try to work it out scenario...but i think i was for sure when i read the part about the pre-nup....good for you but it's shady how Shaq is GIVING her all four kids!!!!!!!! I mean what r u trying to do?????? And this is hard to believe remember when they were on MTV cribs like they were the happiest family and just were in love....I guess those days are over.......but then u have to think about Shaq here.......u make millions y r u worried about what she's spending and what do you mean secretive about her assests????? 36. Okay.......maybe KOBE sucks as team player and he does point the finger....when the going gets tough. BUT.........

At least he is a wonderful Father. I attended a party for his daughter at Olivia's Doll House Tea Room. He has wonderful parenting skills and he has acknowledged his flaws. Some people learn from their mistakes.......OTHERS don't. Do it once Shame on Shaq.

DO IT AGAIN ........Shame on his wife. Of course he will have to PAY for his repeated mistakes. Kobe won't. !!

37. Women...this is what happens when you become dependent on a man. For centuries women have been seeking independence from men, looking to pave their own way, and yet we still have the women who make themselves dependent on men, and they are "shocked and surprised" when the man kicks them to the curb. I don't know the specifics of this divorce, and neither do the rest of you. Even millionaires can have money problems..they are not exempt...they are HUMAN as well.

apparent joint assets may not be. Depending on the pre nup, when the money was earned that purchased the asset and whether they ever co- mingled their finances.

39. Surprise Surprise! Obviously, she was stashing money away for an impending divorce and he fired a pre-emptive strike. He has probably done more than his share of "shady" things too. And obviously, this proves that size isn't everything. My guess is she has been gettin' somethin' on the side too! LOL!
