61. Another successful NBA marriage bites the dust. Shaq probably cheated. The woman probably cheated and hoarded his money. What else is new? 4 more kids growing up in a split household. It's all about me with professional athletes. They should never marry in the first place and all should get vasectomies. They love their money and themselves. Their focus and love never put the kids first. It's all a game to them, a big money game.

62. If successful black men are marrying white women because black women are so controlling, then why do successful black women marry white men? There must be something "wrong" with black men, too. I'm black woman, and both my sisters, and a female cousin, are married to white guys, and I'm thinking of doing the same. Black guys have too much drama, they say (baby daddy, warrants, screwed up credit, chicks on the side); sorry to say, but we get treated better by white guys.

As for the money thing, you don't think all those white chicks Shaq's been doing on the side aren't getting paid? Do you really think these white women would even look at him or any of these other NBA players if they didn't have money? You think that Norwegian chick would even look at Tiger if he wasn't getting paid? Come on now.

who cares? she put money away? so? many women have to do that when they run a household becuase they wouldn't have anything for the extra things for their kids, but mostly themselves. ok, they are filthy rich. i am sure she is not wanting for anything. but the survival instinct is still there. he could come home at any time & announce that he wants a divorce & she'd be left w/ the pre-nup she signed when she thought it was "forever".... i don't see the problem w/ the mrs. having $$ socked away somewhere. i am sure his many women on the side get some. you know he does....pulease!!

64. To #59, Katherine Clueless: Assuming there is a pre-nup, that is NOT how it works. There will likely be a settlement paid out in one lump sum as outlined in the pre-nup in lieu of spousal support.
Child support is another story. In some states the judge has great latitude to provide for the kids, in others, it is based on a percentage of what the parent makes.
Go back to law school...Oh, right, you clearly have never been there.

69. I agree with you #23. She had 4 babies back to back. Real quick !!!!! She had an agenda from the beginning. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. She figures, okay I'll sign a pre-nup. No problem. I'll have a bus load of babies that will guarantee me "MAJOR" child support and eventually I'll get your money that way. If he hadn't filed for divorce she would have had some more. She was looking for a meal ticket from the start. This man had millions (that he earned) before he got with her and has earned alot more since then. Therefore, what should she be entitled to? I don't see her running up and down a basketball court. It seems like the only thing she's been doing is laying on her back , popping out babies and living the good life courtesy of Shaq. She was a beautician when he met her (no disrespect to that profession intended, but let's keep it real) and the last time I checked, they don't earn millions. I'm sure this man has a legitimate reason for his claims against her regarding his money. She's a gold digger and women really need to quit legitimizing this practice. Go out and earn your own money and stop trying to live off someone else. Or in this case, get rich off someone else. My advice to the rich is to marry someone as rich as you are.

70. yeah she may have signed a prenup...but...he signed a new contract DURING the marriage....what you get while married regardless of a prenup belongs to both parties....now he wants an account of all the money...WTF shaq? like it's possible to go bak and check everything she's ever spent ... she needs to get account of all the women you slept with...(I know one of them by the way) ... then she needs to take that number and times it by how many times you could have brought home some STD to her and thats how many millions she should get from yo' stingy a**
