Yes, he has cheated on her one very BAD time that we know about (Confessions of a Video Vixen) - but let's look at his wife - she doesnt work - but she has NERVE to stash away cash while he is out there making good money playing ball and helping kids in Florida get fit. I am proud of Shaq for being a man. Yes, all women deserve something for staying home and raising children - but when you are secretly stashing money away - you've got the gold digging issues that Shaq needs to RUN from!

78. They didn't have a marriage anyway...he's a confirmed cheater and when Kobe did rat him out he acted all innocent and he wasn't.
Shaq is just like any other pro baller, he's a cheater and his ego is huge and his respect for women small.
In the world pro ballers live in, trashy gold digging women throw themselves at them all the time...so women are disposable in their minds and rightly so with the kind of women they hang out with.
It's always uneven when they enter a marriage because in their minds they think they are doing the woman a favor, like the woman is blessed to be the one they settled down with and as long as they are giving her the diamonds and the attention of her being the one on his arm at events, the women don't seem to mind that the guy is out sleeping around.

81. I would have put some money away for me, too. Marrying for love is cool but you also need to marry financially smart, too. Shaunie now has more liabilities since marrying Shaq than she did before so it costs to maintain that. Even further, he wants her to give him liberal visitation while she's always on call? I certainly would grant him that, so long as he footed the bill for the liberal presence/ on demand scheduling of a couple of nannies and maids. Everybody seems to be focusing on why she married Shaq. Now tell us why Shaq married her? Sure, she's dropped four kids for him but why did he not strap it up? Tell us that?

82. That lovely woman had 4 babies in 5 years with that man. She obviously had no time to "dig gold" with all the bottles, diapers, fevers, burping, spit up, strollers, high chairs, walkers, big wheels, rocking chairs, stories, abc's, 123's, lulabys and night-nights she had to do with Shaq in abstentia. Wonder what Shaq's mom has to say about her son's vulgar, selfish behavior.

83. Smart Woman. His only mistake is that he married a well educated woman. Most alethes don't. A woman that is married to a mulit-millionare should always have investments of her own. Shaunie's MBA paid off big time. Now he can go ahead and date a dumb blond. :-)

85. Are you women on here serious? Yeah, his money is always "their" money. . .that is when the man is rich or the bread winner. It's funny how it always seems to be the man's fault when he goes out and cheats. Did it ever occur to anyone that the woman may not be keeping her man satisfied? That she isn't doing what she needs to in order to keep him from straying? We all know that women get real comfortable once they tie the knot and please, don't act like women don't cheat. She probably did and is doing that too, but better at hiding it.

This man is a big time athlete with women throwing themselves at him all the time. He's only human. We all know how much women like attention, so please tell me what woman in his exact same position (men constantly throwing themselves at her) would never stray.

88. Wives of pro athletes make a deal with the devil. Yes, you are financially set and live a lavish lifestyle. The problem arises when the source of the good life you lead is also the source of pain and heartache. No one wants to be home alone while their spouse is on the road or out with the boys or whatever for 60, 70 80% of the year. Kids become the convenient anchor for the wives. They have to go to school. The wife's "job" is to run that aspect of family life. For women on the outside looking in, it sounds like a sweet deal, right? Well the reality is the wives become like nannies. Hired help. No identity, no life of their own, no escape (unless they want to give everything up). I don't know Shaq. I've met him twice. He is like 99% of every pro baller I've ever met. That "Alpha Male" mentality that has made him a great athlete also creates a sex drive that no one woman could ever satisfy. He wants a home and family but he also wants to conquer new territory and not feel tied down. It's a tug of war that every pro athlete faces. Men, in general, are only as faithful as their options. Pro athletes have endless options. So when divorce comes up, from Shaunie's point of view, she has made her deal with the devil and wants it to pay off now. From Shaq's perspective, he wants to"opt out" of this contract while saving as much money as he can.
