Judge Says J.Lo's Ex Has to Pay!

Don't mess with Jenny from the block!

TMZ has learned that a judge just awarded the singer/actor nearly $545,000 in a breach-of-contract lawsuit she filed against her first husband, former restaurant manager Ojani Noa, back in April of 2006.

According to the suit, Noa had demanded $5 million from Lopez to keep him from selling a tell-all book about the star. In January of 2005, Noa allegedly sent a letter to Lopez's lawyer, indicating he intended to shop around a book proposal about his ex-wife. Lopez then says Noa wrote a letter saying he'd scrap the book if she paid him $5 million.

The judge also issued a permanent injunction against Noa, barring him from publishing "negative, denigrating and disparaging" details about La Lopez.

Love DOES cost a thing!

31. There's a thin line between freedom of speech and slander. This guy is lucky that's all he got sued for - considering how he tried to blackmail her. And I doubt very much she paid off the judge. That's just fairy tale thinking. She's a toughie and works the law in her direction with the help of her pricey powerful lawyers - and I say good for her. In a age of tell-alls - how bad could she really be? She's doing well now and I hope she stays that way. She's no Brittney, Lilo, or Paris.

32. Hey No. #1,

That is basically what the judge said, that Noa has no constitutional rights. Because afterall, you don't do this Big Butt JLo. Marc Anthony did the same thing to his ex-wife Dayanara Torres. He and Fat Butt slapped Dayanara with a order whereby she was literally not allowed to discuss Marc or Fat Butt.

Imagine, these people have been stripped of some of the most basic human rights.

33. Too bad, I was hoping he'd publish the book. Jennifer is nauseating, and I'm sure the book would bring her down a notch or two.

34. No #15,

You're right, but it gets better. Jenny From the Block's dad was an engineer and her gambling addicted mother was a school teacher. Their combined income provided for a very nice and solidly middle class income for the Lopez family. Jennifer Lopez was NEVER "from the block." That is a media myth she used to become one of the richest women in the world.

35. Funny how Jennifer Lopez can get a judge to stop a book from being published about their marriage yet a freak like RITA COSBY can write a book tatally based on hearsay
and it is mostly fiction yet she is claiming that the book is based on the truth. She is not
going to admit that she made up "things" to make the book sellable. She took advantage of the fact that their were rumours that Larry Birkhead was gay. Who knows she is the one who is gay and had an affair with Debra Opri!

Everyone should BOYCOTT this book and don't fall for her claims that she is concerned
about Dannielyn. Rita Cosby has fallen lower than OJ Simpson and Fred Goldman.

36. # 1 Tay! I think Jennifer paid the Judge about 6 million dollars! Why in the world does TMZ get the most ugliest picture of celebs and post that on their site!
